This is what pisses me off about this fan base. Why can’t they get this, why can’t they get that? This is who we need, Pelinka sucks for not getting him, it’s so obvious!
Like bro, I’m not saying Pelinka hasn’t made mistakes but if these moves were even in the realm of possibility WITHOUT us getting bent over then I’m pretty sure we would have done it by now. There’s so many things that we as fans aren’t aware of that stops us from getting the players we need, but ya’ll act like he wants us to lose just because it hasn’t been done.
Hornets will ask for 2 FRP and a good player.
Same reason why Lakers can’t get Kessler from the Jazz or any other signed player getting minutes. Teams will ask you to overpay if you want to trade now instead of at the trade deadline.
Why would Hornets trade now for a few SRP and a bad Lakers player when someone more desperate could drop an FRP or a good player for him? Plus they probably want to keep him for the near future anyway unless a crazy offer comes in for him.
Now if the trade deadline passes and nothing is done, then you can question why he or other centers are not a Laker.

Keeping it real i don’t know much about him but when i play 2k myleague he’s always solid back up center. He’s the quote on quote “backup center” when you think of a backup center.
