I like his breakdowns but does anyone here actually watch him play wiffleball? Or whatever they’re playing?
Pretty cool for a baseball guy. Kind of weird people magazine are trying to make an award for the people replacing them. I guess if you can’t beat em join em.
Anything that grows the fanbase and grows the game. Hope more people jump on and expand his format and refine it.

I really like Jomboy except for any content that involves the Yanks. I just can not watch that anymore. He’s such a homer common sense goes out the window when the Yanks are involved.

Him & his crew grew on me over the year. I think what they do across all their shows really hit. I even enjoyed the postseason livestreams. Just dudes I’d kick it with talkin baseball. 🤷♂️
When all the other “independent” sports media companies basically abandoned baseball, just like the mainstream ones, Jomboy stepped up and kept it relevant online. I don’t think his role in supporting the sport can be overstated.
Podcast Content is one thing. I see people use the in game plays, news updates, and highlights they post of live sporting events constantly.
They get their brand awareness literally everywhere through that

I don’t think there is a content creator/influencer out there who is overall generally very well liked, typically unbiased in most opinions/breakdowns (yes we know who he’s a fan of but he’s a baseball fan first) and, while tasteful profanity is used, he’s overall a pretty wholesome guy, in this country.
I think in terms of national treasures, Jomboy should be added to the list. For me, he’s up there with Fred Rogers and Bob Ross. What he’s done for baseball on the internet is significant. We *ALL* subscribe to his channel and look for those amazing breakdowns when we see the events happen live. How many times have you seen the “Can’t wait for the Jomboy breakdown/lip read video on this!”
Jomboy is the baseball content we all deserve. You cannot convince me that anyone could do it better.
honestly, this guy is living the dream that pretty much everyone here would kill for. go from making funny videos of lip reading to having basically your own media company that covers the team and sports you love? set for life
How many lists like this do we need to remind me how little I’ve accomplished
Is it bad that the only person besides Jomboy I know on this list is Sean Evans? Who are all these people? Are they just all tik tok personalities?
