Per NFL Research, tomorrow’s game between the #Packers and Lions features the highest combined win percentage (.833) between two teams in any Thursday game in December or later in NFL history. It’s tied for fourth-highest win % in any primetime game played in December or later.

***highest combined for a thursday game in december***…what a useful stat to know.
What a stupid “stat”.
TNF is the true primetime game, Al Michaels must be delighted
you have to add the december or later qualifier otherwise you have games between like two 3-0 teams, not really an indicator of season quality. this stat is interesting in that it’s likely the most important TNF game ever played
Tie incoming
Hate that the team has to play 3 games in 2 weeks, but as a fan, this is the best toyotathon of all time
And then the week after the 11-2 Lions will play the 11-2 Bills. Wild stuff
I feel like you can put so many filters on a stat or a game that it could be a record…just like this one.
I like noon games
“Per NFL research”.
Some intern stayed late to bring us this critical piece of information.
Pack-Cowboys in 2007 would have this record if game was 2 days later.
