Yesterday, I was watching some old games from the ’00s just because I needed to feel something. I was watching the 2007 Divisional game against the Cowboys, which just made me remember how solid of a player Toomer was. I used to throw dots to him in NFL 2K5.
Sidenote: Do WRs even wear numbers in the 80s anymore?
Golden toes
First jersey I ever got of a player (my first jersey was a customized one with my last name on it)
Man I miss our white and red number jerseys 🔥😮💨😮💨
Well-Dressed Amani Toomer. Super dependable. Probably plays a key role in helping Eli develop in his early years. I know he was frustrated with the team at times and sometimes let those feelings be known, but he was always a pro and, like you said, a solid player. Glad he’s one of those guys that only played for the Giants. Would feel bad to see him in other team’s colors. Glad he got a ring, as he had to play through some rough teams.
Toughest Giants receiver since Mark Bavaro.
Him and Ike Hilliard were my favorite players when I first got into football.
The 5th picture was a great play. Hand off to Tiki, throws it back to Collins who launches a deep ball to Toomer for a TD.
The best
Remember when ppl used to be on the team for more than 3 seasons?
He is genuinely a nice guy snd still lives in Jersey
