  12. I can’t take this anymore. I’m really starting to think Trotz/Bruno might not be the right guys. Idk much about the mgmt side of the game, but at a certain point, a team like this being *this* bad has to fall on the mgmt to some degree.

  20. Turns out players came here to retire whether they wanted to or not. They certainly didn’t come here to win. 

  21. I was talking to my father the other day about this team. Told him we need to go ahead and rebuild. He said, “That’s a bad business strategy. Rebuilding means we lose games and losing games doesn’t sell tickets.”

    I’m not sure which Predators team he’s watching.

  27. The Preds already suffering from the Haslam sports ownership curse. We’ll be the Browns of the NHL for decades. 

  28. What sucks is we’re past the rebuild point for this team. The Saros deal fucked that up. Stick with Askarov instead and Trotz could’ve built his team his way instead of dealing with twilight Poile’s chump squad. Signing Saros forced him to need to sign big free agents. But the rest of the team was already so terrible that of course they wouldn’t be able to perform as well with this roster. So now, seriously what the fuck do we even do?

    Also I don’t know that its coaching. They were just as bad as they were with Hynes and the team is mostly the same. Its the players. To the point where I’m questioning if Josi even deserves to wear the C anymore.

  33. Is anybody tracking “most goals against in last ten seconds of regulation” because god dang, this season should be good for something and we’d surely sweep this stat 😂

  34. Boys, I gotta say it. I was at the game, full yellow, and the Leaf fans were nothing but absolutely nice. They were asking about TN and other TN sports all night. At least the Vols are doing something

  37. I was busy and managed to turn on the game at the start of the 3rd thinking “wow they’re actually beating the leafs and holding them off.”

    Then I remembered who this team is this year…

    What a terrible day to have eyes for those 5 minutes they blew it all.

  38. It’s seriously crazy to me how fucking bad we suck. And there’s almost literally nothing to even feel optimistic about. I was pumped for this season and now it’s fucking over before mid December.

  40. Tough game for stamkos and O’Reilly. Both had over 15 minutes of TOI and neither player had a shot on goal. O’Reilly did have 1 takeaway but was a -2 and Stamkos had the penalty minutes to add to a lackluster game from both players. Stars should elevate against top teams even if they are old guys. No excuses for that.
