Kerby Joseph might actually be a scumbag and the league has to do something about it if they’re truly about player safety. He shredded TJ Hockenson and Tyler Higbee’s knees exactly like this and tried it again with Tucker Kraft last night.

  1. Wow lions fans are fast to downvote that. Never seen an actual post with substance be negative the minute it was posted.

  2. lol he doesn’t even pretend to try for a tackle, just tried to spear Kraft’s knees. Bum.

  3. this team quickly went from the “kinda glad they’re doing well despite being our rivals” to hating them like the Vikings so quickly and they deserve it fucking dirty team

I feel sick knowing I wanted them to beat the Niners last year

  4. The loins fans are so bold this year. I can’t wait for us to beat them when it counts in the fucking playoffs ! GPG

  5. I’m baffled at how the league doesn’t take action with this.

Tight ends are tackled, cleanly, every single week of the football season. It happens hundreds of times a season. How on gods green earth are they all not losing their knees and season, every week, when Kerby claims “It’s the only way I know how to bring them down.”

Either he’s dirty, and exploiting a should be changed rule for player safety, or he needs to genuinely learn how the rest of the league manages to be successful without potentially ending careers.

  6. Damn when Dan Campbell said they were going to bite off our knee caps I didn’t think he was being literal and serious

  7. This is wild. I missed that live when it happened. Not only will he continue to injure opposing players doing that, there’s a significant risk of injury to himself if he makes direct contact with the top of his head.

  8. It’s almost comical how much he contorts his body to try to go for the knees.

Its like it’s his only objective.

  9. Multiple packers players were going to the officials pointing things out. The Lions are dirty as fuck and they will get what is coming to them come playoff time.

  10. This is the franchise that cheered on Suh, the biggest POS in the league, for years. What do you expect? Detroit has never had class. They just weren’t good enough for it to matter.

  11. Wow, I remember this play didn’t see that though. Definitely didn’t even try and tackle just straight for the knees. What a fucking scumbag.

Thank god Kraft made that move and Joseph whiffed.

  12. I’m currently pissed off at Le Fleur for not going for it on 4th and 1 so IDGAF about anything else at this time…

  13. In 5-10 years we’ll find out this team was operating a bounty scandal. This is too much of a pattern.

  14. I mean thats just such a clear dive at the knees the same exact shit he did to hock, higbee, and justin jefferson who luckily didn’t get hurt

Thank the lord this dude didnt do fuck all to Kraft

  15. The one guy I wish gets an injury to get a taste of his own medicine. Fuck Kerby Joseph dude is 110% bitchmade.

  16. Lions went from downtrodden, loveable (to some) losers to this weird, unstable ball of rolling shit. Trying to draw penalties, blanently holding, roughing the passer, chop blocks. It’s happenstance that some of their players are hurt but some are just really dirty and making bone head decisions. They’ll end the season with a great record but a skeleton crew and little to no steam for the playoffs if they don’t significantly change their style of play. The offense is weird assortment: dink dunk short passes, up the middle runs, some fucking circus trick plays and always going for it on 4th down. The Bills, SF and the Vikings will not leave the middle of the field exposed and are going to expose them as a middling team.

  17. Dan Campbell and his bite the knee caps quote. The whole organization is trash from the management to the players. I DONT CARE WHO PLAYS AGAINST THEM I WILL CHEER FOR THEM TO LOSE.

  18. Exactly how it’s taught: duck your head, launch into the knee, don’t wrap up. He’s shredding guys knees while risking ending up in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.

  19. Lmao these lions fans brigading are sad, instead of celebrating a big divison win they’re in here acting like they won the super bowl. They should remember how it felt for their last super bowl so they can act like they’ve been here before ^^oh ^^wait

For a do nothing franchise, the fans sure act like they have a Brady-esque dynasty to protect and even though they’re the #1 team, overall SB favorite, and the league/media favorite, they act like it’s “us vs the world” lmao

  20. Dan Campbell is keeping a tight lid on his kneecap bounties because he learned what happens to teams that snitch.

  21. It’s the crown of the helmet honing in right at Kraft’s kneecap for me. Sure defenders have to tackle low against guys bigger than them these days but that’s disgusting

  22. The whole Lions defense is dirty. Seems to be what their coaches want.

Kerby Joseph going after knees, Brian Branch trying to kill Bo Melton, James Houston twisting Loves leg after he was on the ground.

It’s a trash organization with awful fans. I thought the Vikings fans were sad with how they cheer against GB more than for their team, but hanging one divisional banner made the Lions fans think they’re the Tom Brady Patriots or Lombardi Packers.

  23. That’s when you put in your 3rd string whoever and do a chop block at that dudes knees for a life lesson and take the penalty.

I typically don’t condone this stuff, but he likes to play with fire.

  24. I don’t root for injuries, but the dude is trying to injure others. So fuck him, I hope he breaks his neck one of these times, and soon, before he injures another player. FTL

  25. I don’t know about Joseph specifically, but I think seeing these low tackles more often is a side effect of the league punishing helmet to helmet contact. DBs are responding by going lower.

  26. They definitely trade on an attitude of “they can’t call it all so let’s do it and hope the benefits outweigh the consequences”

    It will catch-up to them.

  27. Why do most NFL defenders not criticize KJ? It’s because this is how 90% of safeties tackle TEs. Happens every Sunday. See JJ Watt’s reply to this tweet.
