Hell no, not for that contract.
Rumours are Detroit, Ottawa, Buffalo, Columbus at the moment. I hope he goes to Detroit, it’s lovely watching the red wings suffer, although I think they have the best goal song in the league.
It’s near impossible given our cap situation to even bring him in, for it to even be a possibility it would need 50% retention, 50% by another team and Connor Sheary to head out.
Also I don’t think the rangers would want to strengthen what they will view as a contender
The D-Lines would look something like:
Hedman – Moser
McDonagh – Cernak
Lilleberg – Trouba

I understand the situation but it’s crazy that any team would put a captain on waivers.
This would only be good for the memes, trouba is a mediocre defenseman who doesn’t score much gets suspended and has a terrible contract
