It makes perfect sense for both sides… The Giants would land a rock-solid veteran (that they could ditch after a year if he doesn’t pan out) to help them win games now/ease the transition of the rookie quarterback. Acquiring Cousins would also allow the Giants to punt on the QB question to Day 2 (or to 2026) if they aren’t crazy about the 2025 first-round QB crop. Pairing Cousins with a one-two wide receiver punch of Malik Nabers and Colorado’s Travis Hunter would make for an electric offense. Using the first-round pick on a No. 1 shutdown cornerback like Michigan’s Will Johnson isnt’ the worst consolation prize either.

  3. I would rather see Fields to hold the fort for awhile.
    I wouldn't be adverse to the Giants picking Hunter in this draft and then take Arch Manning in the 2026 draft.
    But that may not be the wise move either.
    Cam Ward is my #1 choice for this draft in 2025

  4. Cousins has an overall better roster with the falcons they aren’t doing that great. I doubt acquiring him and hunter would turn us around.

  5. Depending on where the Giants end up in the draft order they should take Ward or Sanders if available. As far as filling out the roster, they have a fair amount of cash for free agency, plus they will be picking near the top in each round of the draft.

  10. Marshall, I am tired of the listening to the trade rumors. I get so hyped on them and then get let down. From what I have been told is that these quarterbacks that have been passed down the road there is a reason there is a reason.

  15. Thank you Marshall you nailed it. Sanders, Ward or Milroe with any of the Qbs listed as a bridge. Plan B if no top 3 QB there pick the best player available and sign Winston #1 on the list but also trade for Joe Milton with Patriots. We have Micah Parson, Jalen Carter, Montez Sweat in this division forgot about the trendy pocket passers. Milton is a low risk/high reward trade. Go Giants!

  16. I wouldn’t bring any QB on a veteran contract, with whatever cap space the giants have they need to invest in G and DL so they can help out the next rookie QB

  42. Marshall I agree with you The New York Giants should be more focused on the number one.Pick, and should they get rid of Joe Shane and Bryan Dable ? And go after a proven GM. Someone who's built an organization from the ground. Let them pick their head coach. 7:12

  43. Drew Lock is going to surprise some people by playing decent to close out the year but not decent enough to win. But good enough to make it worth it to keep him and save that money to sign the new rookie class and plug a couple holes
