Shoulda coulda woulda don't win games, grit does. 🦁
Players take on the identity of their coach. One doesn’t make and won’t let his players make excuses. The other cries about calls and screams like a baby because a fan said something bad. Fits the bill.
Respect to Ty. That’s classy and good insight as well
Shoulda woulda coulda!! Blah blah blah!!
Captain Caveman was always a hero and man of integrity…not to mention he had an awesome battle cry…
The world of what if’s!!!! The fact is the lions won. On to the next
Deeetroit football! Jarrrrred goff!
My first jersey was a Joey Harrington jersey. We’ve come from some dark times!!! 😂
Funny how former players, current players, and coaches all understand why MCDC goes for it, and they all want to play for and/or work with "Huge Stones" Dan Campbell. Owners want to hire coaches just like him and front office people who work in the Lions organization. The talking head bloviators are all idiots. They are just looking for clicks and validation.
Lions are exciting to watch. But what about that 4th down knee ?
no way, we ride with dan campbell all the way
It is frustrating arguing about "pick plays" in the NFL. Having never played football, imo the receiver has the right of way when running a route from the line of scrimmage, and it is up to the defender to avoid contact. So I don't think that was a pick play on the Lions with the TD. But WTF do I know…
You don't question Dan Campbell or Brad Holmes at this point. Whatever they do, I'm ridin with it.
I’m a Packer fan and I love when they went for it on fourth down. U know the O line said we got this. Congratulations Lions
Don't know if they can win all the games especially after packers could've won several times. What sort of moron commentary is that?
DANIMAL CAMPBELL
MCDC
We are watching the
ALL TIME LIONS
If we had every single lions player never injured this year, you're looking at not only the superbowl champs but one of the best all time football teams
If you're talking about refs, it was on both sides so let it go. The better team won
Campbell really is out of his F'ing mind!
Lions are going to the Superbowl, and they aren't going there to lose.
Consider that if the Lions and Vikings both win out going into the final game, they will be 15-1 and 14-2 respectively. If Vikings win that final game both teams will be 15-2 and tied in every way for playoff seeding. The final tiebreaker is a flip of a coin. That means a team with a record of 15-2 will not host a playoff game and have to travel to a team in the NFC South or West to play a team that won their division but could have a losing record.
Then look at W-L records for the top three teams in the NFC North. Take out division losses and each of those three teams has only one loss after week 13.
Happy for the Lions. Campbell is a great coach, but lost the NFC Championship last year due to bad play calling in the 2nd half, especially with 4th down risks. You want to win it all, need to win games without trick plays and 4th down gambles. Methodology is more important than any one result. A win is a win, but in playoffs and Super Bowl, better teams are going to shut down your gambles. Hope the Lions win it all. Be just a little more banker coach, a little less gambler.
Sorry bad calls the going for it on their own 30 cost them TD earlier. FG & a squib what is Love doing then?
That Man kneed himself down. He was on his knee. He was down. He can't hand it off… Green bay got cheated
I don’t want to hear crybaby Packer fans squeal about the refs. They get more calls than any team in history. STFU!!!!
Detroit Going to the Super Bowl So Strong
Bobby Lane's curse on the Lions was supposed to only last FIFTY years…about time! 😮
They’ve made compilations for refs screwing over the lions over the last 10-15 years. Don’t cry ref while speaking on the lions. We ain’t the chiefs.
Ef any Packer fan that blames the refs for the Packers losing! I still can’t watch the video of the phantom hands to the face call back in 2015 on Thursday Night Football, that gave Aaron Rodgers the opportunity to throw the hail mary to win that game against my Lions.
All started with Chris being hired by the ford family
Was Skipper puking after that win?
Man, there's a lot of "ifs" in this conversation
if the Lions had their front seven intact on D, MCDC would have prob kicked that FG at the end
Yinzer and Steelers fan with a big chunk of family in Detroit. So I’m living pretty good both for my Steelers and vicariously thru the Lions.
I don't care that the 4th down conversion at the end of the game was successful it was a dumb play call.
The Lions are so unlikeable. I honestly don’t get it. Jared Goff seems like a great human being. The rest of the fans and players are jags. Look at how they acted during their game with the packers. Talk about acting embarrassing.
Dan Campbell is the engine that runs that team!! And the team will respond to that engine as it roars!!! he pushes the gas and they run the show!!!
If if if if if if if if if if. I can play if about a million things. What if the holder dropped the snap?
Unfortunate calls for each side, happens every game, every week. Just be thankful you didn’t have to put up with what the lions have put up with for decades. Lions didn’t get just bad calls, they got criminally robbed countless times. Do packers fans remember the Hail Mary years ago? Or how they even got into position to get that chance? Talk about bad officiating.
As a packers fan i hated the way we lost but man this team deserves it after all these years of struggle and heartbreak for the lions fans
Is Pat McAfee allowed to do a story that isn't about Aaron Rodgers?
Campbell was coaching like he had Parlays. L0l. He practically kept Greenbay in the Game.
This team echos Mike Tyson Flow freestyle by Lil Wayne.
It's gonna cost them the playoffs always take the points no matter what
Who is MCDC?
