Coaching with their “heart” is why they’ll lose in the playoffs
My name for him is Dan Gamble, I love the way he coaches
💥Referees Calls and Non-calls against the Packers decided that game. The "Media" is paid to "look the other way".
Sad…..but TRUE 💥
The Packers are last year’s Dolphins:
Who have they REALLY beaten?
I have to disagree with the take that the defense wasn’t stopping anyone. Greenbay only had 1 actual drive in that game, & 59 of those yards came off 1 pass 💁♂️. Every other scoring situation they were in was because of short field position. Detroits D was working with basically only 4 starters, & completely shut down the Packers the entirety of the first half. So don’t tell me they weren’t playing well.
Remember what happened to Monte Clark, who coached the Detroit Lions. NFC championship he is forth and the length of a pencil.
He decides not to go for it, and they lose. It's gutsy, however those are the calls you have to make.
At this point if DC told me to rob a bank for him, I would.
The only ones saying it was a bad decision are Packer fans….
This is a bad take.. feelings looses more games than it wins…
If they go man to man scheme it allows the D-line to feast. Havin soft spots in the zone gets the ball outta the QB's hands faster truly. If u cant match Speed for speed at least they will look semi-covered which will have the qb to ponder and be a lil hesitant to throw just in case of baiting the wideout, too many openings. U cant have the LB's cover curl hook also rb's in the flats also responsible for everything underneath the safeties. everything
I think and feel Manti should wear a better wardrobe for being on national tv. Making Hawaii people look bad in workout sweats bro
JARED'S GOFFENSE
It was a bigger risk for the Packers 😅
Congrats to Lions but can we really ignore how bad officiating affected the outcome?
Wasn't Goffs knee down before the handoff.. YES IT WAS! Isn't the ball dead if the quarterback drops to the knee in the pocket??????
the anti vac crowd is ALWAYS gonna claim to know more than coach gamble..
Dan Campbell is changing how I view football. 15 years from now, every coach will be calling the game like MCDC.
I love this team. I love my coach. I am stunned he called that. I am a student. DC is my instructor.
I like those moments when Goff remembers he’s a world-class athlete.
Dude ……awesome takes
What are the lifetime stats on a kicker getting so many game balls?
The 4th down conversations also have a big psychological impact on the opposition , they are being treated with contempt and getting rolled over when it really matters.
That level of offensive aggression takes it toll.
Lions are a really good team this year but they sure are acting like they got the Superbowl in bag already. Plenty of teams have been in this exact situation and didn't win diddly
Detroit won with a defense held together with scotch tape
I see a Lions team that doesn't have what it takes to go all the way. Those 4th downs are more of desperation than Heart.
Great Game! Now time for Dec 15 Anarchy v Bills 4pm CBS
Quit acting like the refs didn't gift detroit that game. Im not a fan of neither team but I watched the game and detroit got away with ripping helmets off of players roughing the passer. Blown call for offensive pass interference that was clearly a defender running into the offensive guy. The packers are the better team from what I saw. Detroit lucked out and they won't get to the superbowl. Way overrated!!!!
To paraphrase Muhammad Ali, “It’s not a huge risk if you keep succeeding at it.”
Why do these "experts " insist that Goff fell down? The center clearly stepped on his foot.
7:02 heres some math for you. Last night the Lions converted 4 out of 5 4th downs. thats an 80% completion percentage. if anyone is complaining about it costing us a game then realize that if we didnt ever go for it and punted all those then thats 5 punts where we just give up the ball. if you argue that the 1 that didnt get completed gave them an easy touchdown then also realize that 1 of the ones we did complete on 4th down was at the goal line for a TD.
Thank you, GMFB, for stating the obvious, Dan Campbell is one awesome coach
Next Sunday it’s going down can’t wait
I would say GB is good, but nowhere NEAR as good as Detroit. No Hutchingson, 12 other KEY defemsive players. Its not even close
GMFB by far the best sports analysis and entertaining, great personalities.
Hell of a game: Go Pack Go
Lions a team that actually play to win games and not play to lose.
If it works your a genius. If it fails your labeled an idiot. So true
May the football gods bless Kyle Brandt
This is being over analyzed! Any team can easily get a first down with 4th and inches. Cmon man!
One of the most powerful things great head coaches have is vision. Phil Jackson would always highlight the journey and path to being great. MCDC had a vision of how he wants this game to go, he doesn't need to overthink things, this team and organization is completely synchronized and it shows from the owner, front office, coaches, players. When teams play the Lions they aren't just playing matchups they are playing against a galvanized team and despite a trainwreck of injuries the Lions are getting ahold of teams dragging them out to deep waters and burying them.
"The Main Event" offense, i like that a lot
If they failed that 4th down, the narrative would have been Dan Cambell is to risky he needs to take less risk, and its going to cost him in the playoffs.

'In Dan Campbell We Trust'
I'm surprised nobody bringing up the game at Green Bay a few years ago when we couldn't make the playoffs but we wanted to keep them out too, at did. We had a small lead late and went for it on 4th deep in Green Bay territory instead of kicking a field goal, and made it to ice the game.
Hopefully they will get some of they're injured players back by the time they play Buffalo if not then next week
