Excuses again. Team can’t get out of their zone, can’t break out cleanly, can’t enter a zone cleanly, can’t possess the puck AT ALL, chronic turnovers. They look like they give 100% 10% of the time. Lacking hustle…. Soft in the corners… soft in front of the net…. All hallmarks of coaching. I’m pissed I spent thousands of dollars of my hard earned money on tickets to watch these guys coast around and with zero urgency…. 1 shot through 15 mins in the third when you’re down 1 goal???????? Not good enough, it will never be good enough.
They don’t hate to lose.

Time to start the rebuild… oh wait we’re already in one fuck me. I wasn’t around when Yzerman was winning cups for us. I’m 16 and have no emotional attachment to Yzerman. He has got to go along with Lalonde. Why did we trade walman is beyond me if Matta was proven to be tradable to begin with. Bringing back Kane didn’t help either. We play better without him.
I think it’s time for some transparency with Stevie Y. No improvements what so ever, no playoffs for the last 8 years. We need a SY media availability

FIRE LALONDE! Because he THINKS the team is just a little bit UNLUCKY! Every night he gives excuses as to why "we did PRETTY GOOD!" It's as if he thinks " We did pretty good for us playing against NHL players don't ya think?" If you watch their ability to catch a pass his team looks like an ECHL team! IDK what's going on but I'm no longer going to listen to him say everything's okay and actually we're not that bad.
I don't even get upset when the opposing team scores or stonewalls us out of their zone anymore. Losing is just an expectation now. I will be surprised if / when we start winning.
This team has no heart or toughness and r defense sucks ass
In the third I couldn't believe redwings was the team one goal behind. Last five minutes was total cringe.

So sick of this crap. I cancelled my Fanduel app last week because I can't watch it anymore. Buffalo is my last game. Doubt I will watch. They got beat to the puck almost the whole game. They get outworked and out muscled by all the good teams. Some flurry of chances at the end means nothing with the goalie pulled.Their best chance is 1. to fire the coach. 2. Hire Gallant 3. Trade Larkin and possibly Kane for a D man and some assets 4. Go younger. Bring up Mazor, Danielson. They have good young talent and they need to lignt a spark. Lalonde will never ever be an NHL coach. He is an AHL coach at best. 0 heart, 0 passion, scared hockey system that produces nothing but goals against and losses.

Compher is offensively challenged and Kane just turned the puck over all night. Lalonde is a problem and that goes back to Yzerman. He hired him and he’s kept him. Stevie’s management of this roster in free agency has basically been atrocious. Even moves that weren’t made that he apparently wanted to make would be terrible. He has to be accountable for this mess no matter who is coaching.

There are too many passengers on this team. Guys that are WAY overpaid for what they provide. Inconsistent, frustrating, disappointing hockey. Last year they had no quit, found ways to win, and competed. This year feels like the complete opposite. At this point (kills me to say it) but just go for that top 3 pick, Lord knows wings wont pick first. If thats the plan, keep everything the same. LGRW 🐙 🏒 🤘

I haven't fully listened to one of Lalondes interviews in since late last season. This guy is delusional. THIS IS THE FVCKING TEAM YOU HELPED PUT TOGETHER THIS SEASON AFTER BARELY MISSING THE PLAYOFFS BY 1 POINT LAST SEASON. ITS ON LALONDE AND YZERMAN.

Should you blame Husso? If he was a better keeper he should save the two goals or is it again a bad defense in front. Husso looks better in the last two games than he has in a very long time.
Otherwise it looks like Detroit is controlling the flow of the game first 40/min or so, just zipping themselves through the neutral zone. Creating numerous chances and converting them at a 0 miracle rate e.i. Debrincat had like 8 shots and Rasmussen 5 (btw all low shots lol) of 30 .
Also I know that Rasmussen has an huge-ass but are soft, but what exactly is the skill set that keeps him in the lineup? For a first round draft choice, he's rather invisible even for a player in the first line.
Just get rid of Stevie.Y and Derek & Co and the Red Wings will be back on track with their rebuild. This year's edition of RW is on Stevie.Y head…

They're playing good disciplined defense, but they just don't seem to have anywhere near enough goal scoring. I'm not defending Lalonde but this is a roster problem. Too many of their prospects who have joined the team in the last year or so are NOT becoming goal scorers. They have a lot of young guys playing hard and responsible but they aren't scoring any goals.

How the f is idiot lalonde saying there were some positives? Like have you watched the last 5 games?? This team cant build more than a goal lead. They score a goal and lalonde teaches them to try and protect it intead of trying to build to it. Im starting to think steve needs some help, like how you not firing lalonde yet??
Disagree with yalls comments. Overall a good overall game by everyone. Colorado is a pretty good team. These guys are starting to gel. Even Velano looked good. If they stay in a wildcard potential. They will make extended season. Stay with it wings.

Trade patrick kane. With him in over 50 games with a healthy roster we score less than the 37 we have played without him and a nearly healthy roster. We went 2-1-2 without him while the pk crapped the bed costing us 2 of those games. Kane doesn't help the pk, so bench him and trade him. Plain and simple. We scored 16 of our 67 goals without kane in only 5 games. So in 5 games we scored almost 1/4 of our total goals this whole season. 😂 TRADE. PATRICK. KANE.

Get rid of petry chiarot and gustafsson this would solve 50% of the problems. Then get the PK straight and this team wouldnt be half as ass
