I don’t suspect we are at this point yet, but I think eventually a Japanese star is going to want to come to MLB and distinguish himself from the ones who play on the Dodgers. Otherwise they’ll be just another Japanese player on the Dodgers. But I think Sasaki will go to the Dodgers. Yamamoto and Ohtani are the biggest names but it’s still only 2.

I heard he loves the weather in Owings Mills in the summertime
We all know where he’s going lol
and the announcement that he’s going to the Dodgers in 3… 2… 1…
He will fly on a plane to Toronto, and then sign with the Dodgers
I read “clubs” as “Cubs” and for a second couldn’t believe he wasn’t a Dodger.
If the Dodgers get him I vote we refer to the evil of Ohtani, Yamamoto and Sasaki as Ghidorah

Soto received a $10M bonus to recruit Sasaki. It turns out they’ve been playing COD and Minecraft together for years.
Is there anything stopping a team promising to extend him for ‘x’ amount if he chooses them if they can’t quite match the other teams in bonus pool money?
If he *is* going to sign with the Dodgers, he better do it by end-of-day today, cuz I don’t want to waste one more minute speculating.
