  1. I don’t 100% blame forsy. He wasn’t good, but when half of the shots are high danger opportunities that’s hard mentally. The D-core doesn’t have any shutdown abilities

Seven years of no playoffs, still making crucial errors on the power-play on the penalty kill with the score you’re going to get mediocrity still not learning seven years in the another seven years of no playoffs and if they do make the playoffs they get booted first round not good enough the score has to be shaken up

  21. So With parekh getting the call for camp (worthy for sure), Canada brass are saying Yak is not a top 11 defencemen in the country at U-20. In my opinion it cant be based on ability (his stats the past 2 seasons prove this), but either it's a personality issue or he has been deemed not a good fit? Either way, a little worrisome, no?

  22. I agree Ross, how many times are the Sens going to lose these "9 out of 10" games? I love Forsy but it's time to move on. Soogard isn't the answer this season or next season. I'm not convinced he's an NHL goalie at all. The Sens need huge towering defensive defensemen. Funny how Tokarski is in the NHL after the Sens let him go. I'm not saying he's an answer but the Sens have no depth at goalie. Ullmark for the next 10 starts. I don't care about Forsy's confidence right now. The Sens need Wins and that's it.

  26. I wouldn't mind the 9/10 comments if they had a 9-1-0 record in that type of game, instead these boys are 1-3-1 in games they 'dominated'. 7 years into this rebuild it's hard to care about the manner in which they lose when the end result is still losing.

  27. When you look at the highlight video for the Palmieri goal. They are so tightly boxed in to the center of the ice in front of Forsberg that gives the Isles so much space to skate and move the puck around. Also Jensen is guilty of that one cause he turns into center ice and leaves a lane for Palmieri to skate right in and get the goal. Forsy also should of saved that one. But for sure the PK and goaltending cost us this game and I am hoping their PK improves for next game and get Ullmark in net cause hes been playing great as of late. GSG!

  28. Wouldn’t make a big deal about it… Green I’m sure was just talking about that one game… probably didn’t want to single out how bad the goalie was…I also think Merilinen is the better prospect… I’d send Forsey down and put Subban in there in the meantime when Sogard comes back!
