Batted .217 last year, .251 career avg., .300 OBP. Doesn’t account for a large amount of XBH. Must be a solid fielder I suppose
A warm body that can play serviceable defense and get on base every now and then. By no means a world beater, but if he can provide some leadership/mentor the young studs then it’s a win.

Are they going to sign anyone besides mid/low tier defensive players?
This front office and ownership is absolute, unadulterated trash. But I like this signing. It won’t erase all their dumb mistakes, lack of pitching development, or the KB fiasco. But this is a serviceable vet who will make a positive or net neutral impact.
