  5. Don’t agree with some peoples thoughts on the game. Thought down a couple key pieces against a high flying top heavy offence we looked more than fine enough. Offence was a tad concerning though. Definitely need to add at the deadline or we’ll be out round 1 again as there’s not quite enough there

  6. Tbh, I’m fine with that result. I figured we’d be in trouble without Cirelli but Vasy gave us a chance. My only gripe is splitting up Moser and Hedman again because both Raddysh and Perbix looked out of their depth on a few occasions being out there against the Mcdavid and Draisaitl lines.

  8. Oilers fan coming to say good game, you guys are my second favourite team but vasi played good and saved some goals there which kept you guys in it. Otherwise go kill the flames on Thursday!

  9. Really not terrible. One goal goes in off Hedman – what ya gonna do – and then the tying one was essentially a goal in another universe. So, they shouldn’t hang their heads.

    Though I will say we still do too many east west passes.

    Vasy keeping us in, as usual!

  11. The story of the game so far… Leon and Connor are hockey players with a difference. Leon likes nothing more than to bouffant his hair while Connor slips into a flimsy little cocktail frock for a night on the town. But seeing as they have never won a Stanley Cup, we won’t mention their last names. The areal story of the game so far… Well, that sucked big goat weenies.

  12. Not ideal, but honestly with two of our biggest defensive pieces out and not a lot of time to practice new lines and pairs without them, I didn’t hate that effort. Need to shoot more, and some of the mental lapses were… strange, but I don’t think this was awful or anything. Vasy looked really good. Still two more games on their road trip, I want two more wins.

  14. Edmonton somehow turned a garbage defense into what seems to be a playoff contender defense. That alone proves we need to fire Blashill. He’s had his fair suck of the sav and needs to go…

  16. Didn’t really play all too bad. Edmonton is a good team. Vasy looked good. Just didn’t get pucks in net. Onto Calgary.
