He’s a great bounce back candidate. 28 years old.
Steamer projects him to be worth 3 fWAR next season. Compare that to the negative 2 WAR we got at 2B this year…
Neto/Torres up the middle… nice. Lets hope it’s a short term prove it deal.
One of the main guys I wanted to target this offseason.
Positional flexibility. Slots in at 2B and bumps Rengifo over to 3B (when Neto is healthy); could possibly fill in at SS until Neto is back.

An infield with Nolan/Torres/Neto/Rengifo is solid in theory with all these guys having a wRC+ over 100. Defensively leaves some room to be desired though.
Blue jays just traded for Gimenez. Same position as Gleyber. That may signal the Angels got him
I signed gleyber in the show and we won the WS that year
MLBTR predicted 2 years at $18M per. I’d be okay with that, but I don’t want anything over 2 years – gotta leave that 2B spot open for Christian Moore.
Moore should be called up soon right?
