Roki Sasaki’s agent Joel Wolfe told reporters Tuesday that his client is not necessarily destined to land in a big market or on the west coast.
And based on what we know about his free agency situation — his signing is limited to teams’ international bonus spending pool rather than a true free agency — could the Cardinals legitimately be in play to pull off a coup?

I think with the Cards giving Wolfe the ability to take part in negotiations with Arenado getting traded would convince him to refer STL

That would be awesome! It would REALLY help bolster us for future contentions in 2026 and beyond. It would give us some more respect in the international markets, bring in more revenue, and lilely just be an overall smart/beneficial move for the club… And I do not believe for a second it's going to happen. He'll be joining the Padre's, on a five-seven year contract.
