Lions Revoke Season Tickets of Fan who got in MLF’s Face

  1. Good. Being on the field is a privilege, not a right, and that guy blew it. Stay classy Detroit!

  2. Props to their franchise for holding him accountable. It’s one thing to cheer for your own team but crossing the line isn’t cool

  3. Hope the sweep was worth it ya fuckin jackass. Now sit at home while we end their season in Ford field in the divisional round.

  4. Good for them. Can’t imagine getting an opportunity like that only to blow it by harassing the fucking head coach of the other team lmao, how dumb do you have to be

  5. You know, out of all the other teams in our division I actually liked the Lions and wanted them to do well. They win this season by beating crappy teams or barely sliding by decent ones and they start shitting on us. They have a rude awakening coming. I think it’s newer fans acting this way because long term Lions fans would know not to talk so much shit based on their track record.

  6. Wow classy move tbh. Ima let this even the playing field again. From here forward, my opinion of Detroit is back to neutral and is up to them to ruin again

  7. I know this is inconsequential and doesn’t really matter but it kinda bothers me people call  lafleur soft all the time. Started happening after he was fighting back tears in a presser. When dan campbell did it people found it endearing, but lafleur is a cry baby?

Why do so many people rag on him when he’s going crazy on the sideline? Any other coach and nobody bats an eye or is cheering him on. Lafleur does it and he’s whiny

  8. I would have preferred them to revoke a game or two, that is plenty to learn a lesson. This seems overly draconian. If he does it a second time, that’s when season revoked/lifetime ban comes into effect.

I’m absolutely a Packers fan and I absolutely think people should be held accountable, but at the same time I think we (especially in America with our prison system) view punishments as retribution and not rehabilitation.

I’m sure I will be heavily downvoted because this is our subreddit and most people think he should be tarred, feathered and flogged before being stoned to death for crossing us, but I view voicing mercy as more virtuous than a bunch of upvotes and cheers.

Hopefully y’all can put the pitchforks down for one comment from the minority opinion.

Green Bay is known for being the most wholesome and good natured fanbase and I would prefer us to respond to hostility with compassion instead of likekind.

  9. Shouldn’t MLF had been the bigger person in this scenario and not let a no name fan get in his head?

  10. Good, dirt bag fans need to be punished. I wish the same thing had happened to the Amon-Ra

  11. Much respect for that.

I’d expect the same from the Packers org if one of our own acted the same at Lambeau.

  12. Unpopular opinion: Matt LaFleur a bitch. “He pays way too much attention to his eyebrows for a man.” <— said by my WIFE.

  13. I wonder if they still would have revoked his tickets if he didn’t do radio, news, and podcast interviews where he said he’s done it before and seemed to be unrepentant about the altercation.

  14. Funny part is he will now have to pay an arm and a leg for playoff tickets on the secondary market 😂
