[Indianapolis Colts] Colts HC Shane Steichen says RT Braden Smith (personal matter) will likely not play at Denver. Steichen also said, “I don’t know yet,” when asked if Smith could play again this season.

  6. I wouldn’t be surprised if he retires after this season. Injuries have been putting a toll and he just has shown relatively 0 passion since he got paid. Hopefully whatever this is hes going through he comes out on top

  7. One of those things that I hope something severe enough for that to be reasonable hasn’t happened to him.

  10. Hopefully is going to be ok he needs to take care of himself first the team is going to be ok with Gonçalves at his place so Smith should be focused on himself and his family in whatever is happening in his life.

  14. Never wishing bad on anyone’s family. But also, I’m not mad about him sitting the rest of the season out.

  15. If you’re going through something that’s pulling your focus away, yes take some time. Too many don’t do this and ruin their career. Respect

  17. Let’s not speculate as to what he’s going thru. Whatever it is, I pray it gets better.

    With that being said, I don’t know if he’ll be apart of this team next year unfortunately. He’s had a great run but I feel like he we might have to move on.
