[Gleeman] The Twins picked right-hander Eiberson Castellano from the Phillies in the Rule 5 draft. Castellano has mid-90s fastball velocity and spent last season between High-A and Double-A, posting a 3.99 ERA with 136 strikeouts in 104 innings. He’s the Twins’ first Rule 5 pick since 2017.

Castellano is only 23 and put up solid numbers across the board in the high minors for the Phillies least season. He was the minor league pitcher of the year last year for that organization.
The draft is ongoing, but so far nobody from the Twins org has been selected by another team.

This team is definitely in their Rule 5 draft era. Get those rejects and tablescraps lets go!
Hell yeah. What’s his ring size?
Seems like a solid prospect to get in the Rule 5. With Cole Sands graduating out of the long relief role it seems like Castellano will get a shot at it.
I pride myself and think of myself as a man of faith – as there’s a drive into deep left field by Castellanos
Oops, sorry wrong Castellano…
I don’t care. Fuck the Pohlads.
