1. John Middleton just needs to sell the DAMN team, that's just it, his ownership tenure is a JOKE.

2. I seriously don’t understand why this organization is too scared to make any moves, we trust our players too much. Sometimes you have to get rid of someone even thought you like them (Alec Bohm) because it’s World Series or bust and we need to make our team even better if we’re gonna have a chance at beating the dodgers, this team frustrates me so much

3. Mediocracy at it's finest still continues to plague this franchise. Other teams have made huge transactions while we pick up and keep the scrubs such as Rojas and Stubbs. 🙄🤦‍♂️

Get an outfielder that can actually hit, replace Taijuan Walker with a good starter, get 2 good bullpen pieces and trade some of our inconsistent hitters for players that don’t slump with the entire team. If they don’t do this it would not surprise me if they fall 3rd in the division and miss the playoffs

5. i just think here’s the issue now were the 3rd best team in the division and there is no direction you have young guys and old guys and then guys in their prime so it’s no direction. would rather be rebuilding then being where we are now

6. They should really move on from Bohm and get Arenado. I know he’s older but he’s a hall of famer, he’s not too much against the type of hitter we need in this lineup, and he can fill a leadership role on this team.

11. I said the minute Dombroski and Topper did that bogus ass exit interview this organization had no intention of adding anything significant to this roster. They literally told us as much. Crochet goes for 4 prospects, Evolodi off the board, and they ain’t trading for a Kyle Tucker. They’ll attempt to sell the fanbase on Rojas or Marsh in CF & Weston Wilson/Cody Clemens in LF. And their prized free agent was a broken reliever who pitched 15 times in 2024. 3rd place in NL East @ Best & 6th place in the NL at best.

16. The window is closed. My enthusiasm for this team is gone, I view them the same as the 76ers. A bunch of talent but ultimately a waste of time because both organizations are afraid to address their real issues. With the Soto signing, the braves healthy, and the dodgers not slowing down, this era of Phillies baseball will go down as a huge failure. There’s no way we beat any of those teams in a 7 game series, all the magic we had was last year.

17. It’s over, this is typical Phillies, we can’t compete with NY or LA. It’s a facade, we blew our wad on turner and now we’re paying the price. The only reason we won the division last year was historic first half pitching which completely fell off in the second half, and a lucky division injury situation with the braves. Bryce Harper is going to go down as a fraud once this team barely makes it to the wildcard and losses to the brewers 😢

22. Keep in mind that we are also probably going to lose Hoffman and estevez to FA. Even if we brought those two back it doesn’t make us better than last year for a team that wasn’t good enough. It’d be one thing if only the braves were good but the Mets with Soto easily takes them over us considering they beat us without him. This ownership and management is a joke and a remnant of the failures of the 2010’s. Dombrowski only knows how to dole out cash to hitters past their prime. He hasn’t made one good signing and the roster construction is something you do on MLB the show. It’s one thing to have Schwarber it’s another to add Casty onto that and assume we’ll have a contact lineup. This team will always be streaky because we forced two DH’s into the line up. Turner is a shell of himself and will probably go down as the reason we aren’t going to compete. Harper is the lone bright spot but considering his age and injury history it’s not like he’s gonna go rattle off 4 straight mvps. JT is washed and Nola and wheeler are going to get injured or slow down with age and the amount of innings they pitch. Ranger and Sanchez are good 4-5 spot starters but let’s be honest neither one is really anything close to an Ace. The whole team pretty much has to go at this point. They’ll try to sell us on running it back and getting our hopes up once again, but they legit did the same thing last year despite all of us knowing the flaws of this team. Dombrowski ruined this team by signing tuner and walker, and now he wants us to wait on prospects. Like dude that’d be okay if you didn’t force yourself into win now with the contracts you gave to free agents past their prime. This is honestly sickening as a fan. I’m fine not getting Soto but at least make an effort to do something impactful so you don’t just lie to the fans about how badly you want to win a WS. It’s getting corny to be a Phillies fan just like it’s been corny to support the sixers. At some point as fans we have to stop supporting these millionaires who don’t have a single ounce of the heart it takes to win in this town. God bless Micheal Jack Schmidt, chase utley, j-roll, and Pete rose for actually showing this city what it means to be a phillie. This team is the corny clown brigade with all the stupid dancing on my own bs. We haven’t won shit! The 22 WS run was all luck and were never getting back there with this group of incompetent morons running the team.

23. Brodes been saying this for awhile. DD has done a bad job running this franchise and I have no clue what Middleton is doing. Every deadline moves by DD and they all have been boring aren't good. He hasn't made 1 major trade. He keeps rambling on about loving his guys and this obsession with starting pitching is nuts. They need the offense revamped which should have been done after 23 collapse choke job. If there getting cheap now then the TT signing should never have happened and probaly did cauze of Harper. Marsh/Rojas in the outfield with some scrub as 4th OFer is coming again. This is embarrassing there being run like the Cowboys of MLB now. What shoukd be done but DD and Middleton ar3 so soft. U trade for Arrarez put him at 2B put Stott at SS move TT into the god damn outfield but baby TT refuses to even want that. Hes a butcher. Hes supposed to be a #2 hes a #4 on a team. Then get Arenando maybe cauze St Louis will eat most of that money. Also Harper could have went back to OF and much easier to find 1B but nah. KS soley as DH is killing them cUse guys never can get a day off and just hit. JT is washed cauze they refused to find a solid backup. Thomson is Girardi he wont mix shit up but these delusional fans think DD has done a great job. No he hasnt. That stadium will start being half fulll again cauze of the way every season ends and the way this FO just is a joke
