5. Nah, you’re undervaluing Framber because you’ve watched him. He’s won WS games and has finished top 5 for CY awards several times. He’s a lefty, and he’s a durable innings eater that’s front of the rotation. Trading Framber should net us a positive return, not a negative return.

13. Bregman is a homegrown talent. Not too many players are up to par to replace Bregman. I hope the Astros work a deal and just keep him so that he can retire here and most likely win one more World Series and retire as the best 3rd baseman in Astros history

14. Deferred deals full amount does count against their cap every year. I think you’re confused. They can pay it later but ohtani 70 million does count for next 10 years. Go look it up

17. If the owners just stand firm, most of them have other sources of income, they would get a cap and floor. I don’t care how strong the MLBPA is most players couldn’t last in a long holdout

18. There are no rules currently that prohibiting the deferred payment method. Every club has the same opportunity. And I wouldn't be screaming foul when you are still able to hang a World Championship banner for 2017 and your team cheated.
