  1. Jed: Non-tender Kyle Schwarber. Spend big on a manager that’s won one playoff series (2017). Claim to fame: not overpaying World Series heroes and being surprised that his team is .500 with a team full of no bad players but no great players.

  2. This fucking team man. I can’t believe the no urgency, no movement, just nothing…… from this man. I have a dead feeling like I can give two craps anymore what they do. I’m just over the blandness, the mid, the averageness, the middle of the road boring bullshit they put out year over year. The NL Central is in such shambles that the Cardinals have thrown the towel in and waving it, the Pirates have pitching but won’t go anywhere, the Reds are the Reds and the only team is the Brewers we’d have to worry about and yet this team does absolutely ZERO F’ All to bully anybody financially where they obviously can. Pathetic.

  3. Jed knows he’s not being brought back after this year. I’m glad he’s not trading off top prospects. Keep it on ice until his replacement comes in.

  4. So Hoerner, Suzuki, Belli, ALL think they are being traded. Jed says nope, and go Fighting Irish, and Cubs rock.
Boston just signed an Ace and a Closer. Dodgers signed their 5th Ace. Giants signed a SS. Mets signed Soto. Hell even the A's signed an ace for them. Meanwhile the Cubs signed a number 5 starter and they MIGHT sign a back up catcher. In other news, the Cubs are thinking about upgrading the popcorn guy in the bleachers in LF. He is slow I guess. Fingers crossed for popcorn guy. I think we also have a new first base coach and hopefully he can yell STAY to the runners who job to first, then sprint to 2nd and get gunned out by a mile. Cubs lookin good.
