Why did Trey Murphy stop playing offense in the second half? He lit up the first quarter, then couldn’t wait to get rid of the ball for the rest of the game.
Its been just 2.5 but the Pels have been much better without Ingram
I heard the radio guys point out this team’s rebpunding issues. It’s amazing we only lost by 2 even with the injuries.
No matter where we land, just trade down, and then draft the 2 best 7’0 footers on the board.
Until Benson family going to sell Pelicans and Saints. Teams will never be relative, no matter what type of CBA’s in place.
Waiting for another Drew Breez may never happen again. Y’all can thank Benson family. They make their money and call ya suckers.
Letting Trojan Langdon go was HUGE MISTAKE !!!
This game has mimicked every previous competitive game we have played this season and its always happening at the same time. Team has at least a competitive 1st half, then comes out of halftime looking completely flat for at least the 1st 5 mins. Sometimes we recover, sometimes we crash and burn right then and there. We show fight in the 4th right up until like the 9-8 minute mark in the 4th, right around when the lead ballhandler is sitting. The offense just dies. No one makes any cuts, no one is properly sagging ff to the corners or the wings. Too many players constantly sitting in like the midrange area not knowing what to do. Only scoring threat gets doubled and everyone is just sitting around confused. Is this Willie’s fault or the players? Injuries have definitely put us into a point of where we flat out run out of people who can shoot the ball, but I feel like the Willie or Borrego needs to find out something to fix this 2nd half mess we keep finding ourselves in.
This was a far cry from the 6 times we beat them last year.
Honestly, this roster has big holes.
Not having Zion and BI aside.. DD, Naji, JV, and Nance was a lot of shoes to fill.
Not having BI and Z makes it so we basically can have no room for error. It’s 50+ points in street clothes. But the rebounding and defense we are missing out there right now is crazy.
