  1. Mets town !! This is what Soto says after playing in the World Series !! How could it be a Mets town ! If Mets win a world series then it will be a Mets town its about WINNING !!!Championships are not won in December , having said that it looks like a LA world right now most unique player in modern history and a lineup that doesn't strike out , they beat us with 2 freakin' starters imagine if they get Sasaki too !!

  2. As of now it's Soto, and aging Lindor and a bunch of nobodies. Anyone old enough to remember when A-Rod got his $250m Texas deal … yet his Rangers came in last place every season because they didn't have anyone around him lol

  3. If you're ever in NYC and you need directions, find someone wearing a Mets hat. They will help you. Ppl wearing Yankees hats can't help because they're not from NYC

  4. Rich relax. His English is not great I interrupted it as the Mets have been here longer then your 55 years with a huge fan base so it's not like the Brooklyn Nets trying to find their footing it is a Met town not just a Yankee town and in that case he has a way better understanding then you.

  5. A big part of a championship team is "no holes". The 1998 Yankees had no holes. If the Yanks had signed Soto, they'd have 2 superstars and 6 or 7 holes, and likely miss the playoffs.

  6. METS OWN THE BEST LOOKING TEAM LOGO , BEST LETS GO CHANT LETS GO METS, BEST LOOKING UNIFORM, BEST COLOR COMBO ORANGE AND BLUE…… AND THE YANKEES IS THE MOST BORING TEAM WHO HAPPENS TO OWN 27 TITLES… OH AND THE MEET THE METS TEAM SONG IS 10X BETTER THAN YOURS!

  7. Quick NYC baseball history. NYC has always been an NL town. When Dodgers and Giants left, Yankee attendance actually dropped. During that time the Reds were being broadcast on the radio and did comparable ratings. Through the 60s and most of 70s Mets outdrew Yanks regularly, the 80s wasnt even close. Jeter and his crew took the town over for sure. The last 10 years have been even. Yankee tears never get old.

  8. Hilarious soto blowing smoke and mirrors not worth the hype not worth the contract. He wont bring any world series win to mets

  9. Certainly, in my SF Giants Northern California and baseball-related social media feed perspective, since 2016, I’ve seen the Mets come up in highlight videos, seen them have more success in the playoffs, I don’t know if I’ve seen a bunch of Mets hats but I’ve seen ZERO Yankees caps.

Now that’s not “a long time” but 8 years is what the kids mean when they say “a long time”.

If anything, they’ve been the joke teams 🤷‍♂️

  10. Generally speaking, as a Phils fan, i'd say that Rich had lost his mind. However, NYC's 5 boroughs are probably 80-20% Yanks fans over Mets, and that may be generous…

  11. Settle down Rich. Soto is kid who was being peppered with question after question. Clearly Soto doesn’t have full command of the English language. He probably misspoke or perhaps the words didn’t come out how he wanted.
