Elandon has to play more snaps in this one
Is it wrong to compare their contributions because Warren sees different fronts than Harris does? Or is it fair to say Warren is more productive?
If they switched roles (#1 and #2) would things be better? Why or why not?
Personally, I’m not a big fan of Harris because:
– I don’t think he ultimately lived up to #1 pick (similar to Edmunds)
– He appears immature in interviews (tries to be cute/funny but comes off as immature/annoying)
I think the Steelers would be better off spending his money elsewhere next year. Even if his replacement isn’t quite as good, I think they’d still be better off with a competent back along with Warren, especially as the o line continues to develop.
I don’t think his vision and decision making is anywhere near warrens. And warren hits the hole much quicker. Najee relies too much on his strength. Kinda like working hard vs working smart.
Anyways that’s my take but I’m happy to be wrong.
Absolutely stopping the run in this one is top priority
Seriously, DKPS had been talking like the Steelers are Grambling playing Alabama in the 70s or something. Like the Steelers have zero show in this game unless they play the absolute perfect game and get a few lucky breaks. Sheesh!
Let's move 56 around the line, let him bird-dog Barkley.
Running backs are a dime a dozen these days. Why spend a ton of money when you can get a younger guy to do it cheaper. It's just business
Thank you DK and Chris, Defense got to come off those blocks and make those tackles. Offense needs to pass to run. Special teams need to come up big. All three levels. Here we go !! Great show guys.
We need somebody that we don't talk about very often anymore and that's Fitzpatrick
I want to see a lot of Warren, Pat, and Mt. Washington on offense, and a lot of E. Rob, the general, on defense.
Najee’s best attribute is his durability
To be a running team, your #1 runner should be getting 100 yards regularly.
Shout out to the Iron Horse. People may not fully appreciate his body of work here but they will down the road.
Honestly Steelers nation if we are going to start off fast we need Jalen Warren with the bulk of the carries Najee put us behind the stick to much he gives everything he has when running but foot work just to sloppy almost falling every time he get free tomlin loves him or he knows the right thing away to butter tomlin up no way is Najee better then Jalen go Steelers!!!!!!!
Najee needs a full back
Yes, Najee had 75 rushing yards against a terrible Bengals team, but DK left out a critical factor. He only had 16 carries. He had a TD plus 6 receptions for 54 yards. They’re simply not giving him the ball enough, most games. In 13 games he has 20 carries three times with a high of 21. Last year it was twice, and those came in weeks 17 and 18. I also find it amazing that DK wants to see Najee at his very best playing 3 games in 11 days. Out of all the playmakers on offense, who’s it gonna take the biggest toll on by far? The starting RB….
When will DK call out Minkah?
Man, this is a first for me, off a win where our media is so down on beating the next opponent. Not even playing the Pats in their Hay Day or last yr Bills in the playoffs. Believe in Any Given Sunday #HereWeGoSteelers 🖤💛🖤💛
If they pay Najee 6mil a year…not 10 mil. Rb with miles. Rbs are a dime a dozen
Najee has a career rushing YPC 3.9. His YPC this year is 3.9. That's who he is. Not very good. Not Benny Snell bad, but not very good. The top backs are all over 5 YPC. Tomlin should have traded him a couple of years ago. Tomlin has a reputation of giving mediocre players starting hats for years on end.
Najee looks really good this year.
This is crazy. Knowing teams sell out the run to stop Najee is just crazy work
Love Najee's running style. He is good once he gets past the line of scrimmage, but sometimes indecisive finding the hole.
Yes! ERob, maybe throw Fohoko on the line too. Try it all, Eric Rowe and Cory Trice to cover all their WRs.
I dont think its fair talking about Najee, as not a capable back. No back is good unless he has a good O line. Our O line is still learning and getting better. Najee fix, we just need the O line to continue growing.
Love the steegles reference! Great lil part of history
Really think they need to use warren and fields packages more – need quick running in this game vs this beastly eagles front. Najee later in the game. Man it sucks not to have GP, Elliott and Larry O (hopefully mon adams can take his snaps). Doubt we win this one tbh – next wk vs ravens much more important game and hopefully we at least get ellioot back for that one (as well GP obv).
This dude is really a hater 😢# really not a fan!
Score 13 – 13 + for whoever wins the turnovers.
The last time a team attacked their own running back, it was against Bettis. Bettis and Warren are a nice duo. Remember Connor. Remember Zeroque.
Keep an LB rotation focusing on Barkley. Eliminate him in pass or run.
