I wasn’t excited about starting Max, but he played some solid defense.
Max and Cam were the mvps of this game for the role players. Cam should’ve gotten more minutes, those steals/deflections into transition brought 2020 flashbacks
Max is either my favorite or second favorite player on the team to watch. He fucks up, but there is never a play where you can say he isn’t trying.
His name should’ve been Jarred Vanderbilt
He’s been doing a lot of great things defensively. I like him a bit more than Cam as a starter.
When D’Lo is hot, he’s a perfect fit for this team. The playmaking and range, compliment AD perfectly.
Unfortunately he’s too inconsistent for me to push for him to be that 5th starter currently. And I’m a BIG D’Lo fan. But rn I’d rather see someone else get a shot, especially bc D’Lo also isn’t the best defender so if his offense isn’t there it’s kind of 4 v 5. With hustle defense guys like Cam and Max, you can count on their defense being there regardless of their offensive rhythm. Hustle doesn’t slump.
Cam especially looked good today. The deflections, the good cuts to the rim, etc. Looked great.
Did a great job on Ja and then that also allows Reaves to slot into a more favorable matchup on D which can help his offense. The problem is when we ask Christie to guard a bigger wing, which is what Reddish is theoretically more suited to but Reddish can’t shoot…
Max is finally showing the flashes he did last season.
He has the length, size and foot speed to keep up with scoring guards.
On offense has a nice shot. His issue is when he tries to do too much. Needs to learn and control himself to play within a role in the offensive end.
Why not dalton?
💀 we’re cooked. I’ll enjoy Lakers ball for what it is. oh well. hopefully some trades happen
How many different starting lineups is that now? 10?
Not to bring up that man in Milwaukee but if Max played more last season, just to iron out his greens and young player’s ills, he would have already been an excellent addition to the team. Now he is. MAXIMUS PRIME!
Max is still growing so u still some simple mistakes on both ends but he’s progressing playing good defense wit great effort even if he f up
J.J Reddick: Hold My beer.
Lmaoo for a second i thought he was talking about activating himself.
