No no no. It’s 100% Farhan’s dumba** fault we didn’t get the big fish. When you “match” offers, players will again look at the roster. Farhan assembled a sh*t team so no one will choose us over the other…
He set us back 6 years and all the “small” moves he made to sign people got traded for bags of peanuts. Absolute mole of a person, screw him.
Can't stand this lady.
Dodger
Never in a million years does SF get Roki Sasaki, Burns wants to win now!
Og course everybody wants the best players but not that easy
I dare the Giants to try to get Roki. They have agreed to terms with the number one international free agent (not counting Roki) If he finds out that they are trying to give his money to Roki he will obviously back out and sign with a different team. Probably the Dodgers because the Dodgers have all of their international bonus pool money still available (Which is why teams think they have a secret deal with Roki already in place)If the Giants try this they will likely end up with nothing.
DODGER DYNASTY!!! is on the way.
Sasaki is NOT going to the Giants. His agent said Sasaki wants to sign on a winning team.
Giants are in win now mode. We wouldn’t have added Buster and Adames if we weren’t. Burnes will sign. Sasaki, who knows.
First off, if they get Burnes & Sasaki then they instantly have a rotation that can beat any team in the playoffs and puts us in the #2 spot in the NL West, the best division in baseball. MLB already announced that SF is the favorite to sign Corbin so it’s just coming down to finalizing the deal. Sure it could fall through but Buster isn’t likely to let him slide.
Lee was a favorite for rookie of the year going into the season before he got hurt. He is a gold glove caliber CF and we already have Gold Glovers at 3B, C, RF, and Adames could be too. More than almost any other team in baseball.
Fitzgerald had a breakout year as a rookie for only 300 ABs and will settle in at 2B this year. Not to mention Ramos making the ASG for the first time and ready to get back to slugging this year after fixing a hand injury.
With Eldridge being the best minor leaguer in all of baseball last year and ready to crush it for us, that’s a huge bump to the lineup. We will continue to be active this FA/trade market. We have significant pitching pieces that could bring in trade value as well as major league ready position players like GG caliber 3B Schmitt, Brett Wisely MIF, and possibly Luciano. Wade & Yaz could be moved too as proven players.
Young pitching takes time to develop. Look at Greene, Grayson, Mize, Skubal, and many others. First year or two is slow and then they lock in. Harrison will be that guy to slot in. Ray will have a full offseason to get back and ramp up.
Lastly, our previous All Star closer Duval had a down year but we have great pitching development that can fix him. He still has elite stuff. That gave Walker a great opportunity to see closing opportunities and he was lights out. We have a solid bullpen which will be added to this offseason.
We will be the front runners for Tucker & Vladdy next year.
We also drafted both the ACC & SEC players of the years this past draft. The 2 best divisions in D1 baseball which is basically A/AA ball. Power bats that we haven’t had in a long time. The Giants are in a good place.
Resigning Chapman & adding Willy is a great sign for other legit position players to join up.
Posey wants more Chapman, Adames and less De’Vondre Campbell.
Plus Patrick Bailey is one of the best catchers in the game, a plus for ny pitcher.
Snell had a one year opt out and SFG gave up a big pick – not a good signing under those circumstances!
Another Kringe Kratz moment
