  1. Derek! Love your show! I have a question: if Yankees fail to acquire a reliable first baseman, do you think DJ is better than Rizzo? Or Yankees can possibly bring Rizzo back after missing out on Walker, Alonso, Goldschmidt or whoever available there.
Next off season, Murakami from Japan will be posted (confirmed, I’m from Japan myself). Maybe Vlady is going to be expensive but available

  2. No Walker (righty, pulls ball to LF, old(er), 4y? No way), No Alonso (power but thats it, too.expensive, I only would.like him to be champ w Yankees instead of Mets). Get Lowe or let Rice to Cook, if doesnt for the break get a rental for playoffs and next year go for Murakami. Get rid of Stroman and go for a 3B or 2B (No Gleyber please)

  3. Was thinking about it right before you mentioned it… what level of prospect do you need to add for a team to take on DJ’s contract? One of the shortstops? Spencer jones?

  4. I say fuck em all!! Let’s sign Alonso and have belly play center field. Volpe belly judge alonso Dominguez Stanton jazz wells Cabrera with iut rotation and pen wins the World Series this season. I’d add yates and sasaki if possible. And call it a day

  5. I think they only had to give up Cody Petite because the yankees only got a two point five million per year discount on the contract. Much since they were willing to absorb more money than originally thought they gave up less and return. I like this because I believeWill Warren that is going to be ready for major league action. This year and maybe within two years, if he fully develops into a effective starting picture. Cody P. Was very effective in the minors, but certainly wasn't going to be ready to go into major league baseball in the next year or so.He definitely needs more time to brew before he's ready for the big show.

  6. Next move should either be Walker or Bregman. Definitely. Also, pick up a top of the line seventh. Inning, bullpen guy and one strong, either starter or bench player with good bat ability.

  7. Our dynasty teams didn't have a lot of mash guys. They were built with consistency and contact hitters who had a little bit of pop. Their thing was two out magic, putting three and four and five hits together with two outs and scoring a couple of runs when the other team thought they were about to get off the field. We needed do that a lot more. We did it a bit this year, but yeah, if we can get back to. I'm doing it more consistently. I think it would be huge, especially come play off time.
