FISH AFTER YOUR 35 YEARS, DOES THE FOLLOWING DEFINE JERRY & STEVEN?
1. National Library of Medicine defines, “NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER (NPD) is characterized by a PERSISTENT PATTERN OF GRANDIOSITY, FANTASIES OF UNLIMITED POWER OF IMPORTANCE, and THE NEED FOR ADMIRATION OR SPECIAL TREATMENT. Individuals with NPD may experience SIGNIFICANT PSYCHOLOGICAL DISTRESS RELATED TO INTERPERSONAL CONFLICT and FUNCTIONAL IMPAIRMENT. Research suggests CORE FEATURES OF THE DISORDER ARE ASSOCIATED WITH POOR PROGNOSIS IN THERAPY, INCLUDING SLOW PROGRESS TO BEHAVIORAL CHANGE, PREMATURE PATIENT-INITIATED TERMINATION, and NEGATIVE THERAPEUTIC ALLIANCE,” (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5819598/).
2. AFTER ALMOST 30 YEARS OF FAILURE & THE SAME BEHAVIOR, EVEN WHEN JERRY IS NO LONGER WITH US.
3. COWBOYS FANS WOULD BE FOOLS TO BELIEVE STEVEN WILL RUN THE COWBOYS ANY DIFFERENTLY REGARDLESS OF WHO THEY BRING IN!
Please tell me the name of the NFL franchise other than the one that Jerry owns that would let the Joneses anywhere close to the GM's office.
Troy would be great, he’s not afraid to get some a*+ when the big kids need it, something DC lack. The team will walk and stand up straighter when he’s in charge!
We can all ponder what ifs all day long. Troy included. I'm not questioning a TA GM role but that the narcissism of the Jones's would not let that happen. We are years away from true change happening
The Cowboys need discipline !
Jerry would never do it because he’d be admitting that he needs help and his ego’s too big for that. He believes in his bones that his way is the right way.
Troy needs to help no matter what – screening for good character guys in scouting – scouting / drafting / free agency- as for GM – Troy with that position would be the start of another volume in the dynasty, with consistent championship runs.
My recollection is that in 1997 Troy pressured the Cowboys to draft David La Flaeur with their 1st round pick. Hmmm, how did that workout?
Love Troy the Qb and what he was in the 90's. What makes everyone think he would be a great GM ?
Yeah, I know, anybody but Jerry and Stephen.
Maybe Jerry doesn’t like to fire people. Head coach doesn’t want to fire and much less have a real general manager he would have to fire!🔥
If Aikman loves the Starvand Dallas so much why is he so biased against the team its very noticeable and undeniable
What a fun topic to contemplate, even if it will never happen.
If Jerry Jones fires Mike McCarthy to bring that clown and I do mean clown from Tennessee Jay Jonas losing it you might as well sit here next to Biden 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
Without a doubt having Troy would instantly improve everything with this worthless organization however once Jerra steps down his lackey son would never allow it.
Troy is the Ultimate Captain America and should someday be considered to be the General Manager. He has that extreme loyalty to winning ways and raising the bar to set the standard.

“Go get him Jerry” for Cowboys sake!
FISH: As always, a great show. 👍
You're absolutely right. It would be a PR bonanza. Unfortunately, I don't ever see it happening. 😢
I think we are more likely to get Romo as an OC. I also think he would accel at that role. Also, Jason Witten went on to coaching little league, or maybe high school football. Point is I cant think of a better tight end coach. They are both devoted Cowboys and JJ respects them as much as they respect him. Now, Emmitt Smith Might show an interest in Coaching, if Jerry were to make a REAL offer to him, and that guy would be WELL received by all.
Jimmy, Troy, any GM = Pipe dreams
Fish my prediction. History repeats itself . Jerry wins 1b4 he dies, Steven takes over wins 2 out of 3 Jerry gets credit and Stephen for 30 yrs chases only 2 win 1 b4 he dies and then the next jones wins 2 out of 3 for ever this goes on lol
Fan since 1975, age 62, feel your pain, we need a miracle off the field. Good luck to all of us.
Uncle Fish, all I want for Christmas is Troy as our GM!!!!!
Why would Aikman leave the booth ?
How About Elon buy the Cowboys! Could you imagine that? He would hire the best GM , coach etc!!!
Troy would be a tremendous general manager for the Cowboys; he was a General when he played.
Why would Aikman want to work 70 plus hours a week for the Jones's. He makes a butt load of money now working alot less hours. And has more freedom. I think i read that he'd work for free the first year to learn the job then get a salary after that. What are we smoking lol
Jerry can call himself the GM all he wants but the truth is that he is just an owner who everyone in the building, with actual jobs, have to explain everything to him in a way he understands so that he can approve it, and that is the organization's bottleneck that he supposedly wants to avoid by appointing himself the GM. At the end of the day, GM is just a title and the rest is a chain of command. If he's not accountable then he is not the GM.
By the way, I hope you make video about what is being said about the Jets ownership because we're not to far away from that clownshow.
Jimmy nor Aikman should muddy themselves by being Gm of this team. Jerry and son have sunk this once proud franchise to the joke in the NFL. Stay away Troy and Jimmy. If Troy or anyone becomes GM , he’ll be the scape goat for these two incapable fools.
Why not ask Jerry would he hire Troy Aikman in the Cowboys front office!!
It doesn't matter if we win, lose or draw the remaining 3 games of the season, winning only worsens the draft, and losing means getting one better player, but after the draft, it won't even matter, we'll still be a least 3 or more years from being a legitimate contender, this team has more holes than a slice of swiss cheese, our run defense is as porous as a sponge, and #4 is unreliable in games that matter, not to mention those pesky hamstrings or the fact that 9 years in still working on footwork, although the left side of the oline seems to be a positive, so we'll have what the 6th 7th pick in the draft
