Mike Vrabel continues to be a popular head coach candidate & ESPN’s linked him to the Cowboys, along with the Raiders and Ohio State Buckeyes. Plus, local outlets for the Bears and Jets have tied Vrabel to their teams. Here’s what ESPN’s Dan Graziano wrote: “Mike Vrabel’s name is buzzy ahead of the coaching carousel. Some believe the former Titans coach would be a candidate in Dallas if the Cowboys move on from Mike McCarthy. (Jerry Jones continues to say nice things about McCarthy, but he has yet to extend his contract, which expires after this season.)”
Cowboys got good news and bad news on DeMarcus Lawrene and DeMarvion Overshown recently:
– Mike McCarthy said not to expect DeMarcus Lawrence to return from his foot injury this week. It seems unlikely that Tank will be able to play again this season.
DeMarvion Overshown has undergone knee surgery for his multi-ligament tear, but Jordan Schultz reports that the hope is he can return BEFORE the end of the 2025 NFL season.

45 yrs and used to say fellow cowboys fans are family;but that change with social media. Most so called cowboys fans are player fans instead of a team fan. I started watching the Cowboys in 1965. I'm 68 and a diehard Cowboys fanatic. I've seen the best times and the worst times, and as tough as this season has been, it's not nearly as bad the late 80's. Cowboys fan for life.
