On the bright side, I’m not sure any of us Wings fans expected anything from Husso.
A little shocked Arvid Soderblom didn’t make this list.
Two goalies on this list feels not great
Congrats to Elvis for removing himself from the list with last night’s performance
Finally, something that Swayman is number 1 in.
This is why goalies don’t get paid big historically.
Skinners expected GA is criminally low.
It’s nice to no longer see the Avs on this list
I’m SHOCKED that Georgie isn’t #1 on this list. He’s the worst starting goalie I’ve ever watched for an extended period of time. Thank fuck he can’t hurt as anymore
B’s let themselves get fleeced for reasons…
Sharks could have had a Blackwood/Askarov tandem lead them to mediocrity.
Instead we get Vanacek/Georgiev leading them to another lottery pick. Kids get a year to acclimate with zero pressure.
Askarov takes the reigns next year and the climb from the basement really begins.
Mike Grier masterclass.
Not surprised about Swayman or Georgiev.
Sort by 60 with a minimum games Played. Total unfairly punishes goalies that play a lot.
Aaaand that’s why Martin got sent back down to the Wolves
Is swayman bad or is it just his team
How is the GOALS EXPECTED stat determined?
Saros (not on this list)with only 7 wins, 3 of them shutouts is criminal. I love him but his team is failing him. 😰
Pittsburgh have both thier goalies in top 10 is shocking
Having 2 goalies in the top ten is good right?
Right?
Oh Primeau….you little ball of disappointment.
I think the the legacy of Price was too intimidating for him.
So no more Conor Ingram revenge games?
Maybe we can offer Fedotov to Florida for Bobrovksky, and when they burst out laughing we can show them this chart.
Ingram is going to be stuck there for a while. He’s been hurt for over a month and apparently “isn’t close.”
Based on what exactly?
Makes sense. I picked swayman in my fantasy league this year.
I’m a player killer. I had cmc in football this year.
I have a history of players performing terribly or getting injured when I pick them. I have a list of of players I’ve done this to over the years.
the duality of Utah
How in the shit is the Blackhawks goalie corps not on this list?
I guess there’s an advantage to being at rock-bottom, there’s nowhere to go but up
Lowest GSAx does not equal “worst.”
Last night Georgiev gave up a goal on the second shot (PP), then two reasonably soft goals in the third period to seal the win for Colorado.
So glad he is not on our team any more.
I remember when people on this sub tirelessly defended his awful play.
Feels nice to have none of our goalies there, a turnaround from last season. Both Forsberg and Korpisalo were terrible.
What?! A list without a Sens goalie!
Yeah, sure there’s shock value with seeing Swayman at the top of this table (as it’s currently sorted). But data literacy is hard, and interpreting this data as “Swayman is the worst G in the league” is, plainly, a surface level take.
As others have said, I would much prefer to see it sorted by per 60 with a minimum number of games played.
But the opposing fans wanted Swayman (for good reason) LOL.
I must say… for all our fumbles late in games our Goal Tending has been great.
I am surprised Skinner isn’t on here.
Does this mean we’re in the playoffs?
With due respect, this is a shitty representation of their play – it should be filtered by the next column over (per 60).
Filter for 9 or 10 games played & GSAx/60, and you’ll see some stark differences:
– Swayman is way better than this chart makes him look (Silovs hit his number in 1/3 of Swayman’s games!)
– Fleury’s performing way worse than shown here
– Spencer Martin’s worse than shown here (low sample size though)
– Tarasov’s worse
Georgiev getting traded from Colorado to San Jose last week and then losing last night to Colorado in San Jose has to be pretty demoralizing. Swayman and Ullmark are a Prince Rupert’s drop. When they were separated they exploded into a billion shards of glass.

So, about that 8.25×8…
Yup that’s about right.
This makes me happy
Swayman….sheesh
Awk.
Oof, now sort by per 60
Let’s go pens
Lol@bruins
Swayman lol holy
