  1. Only word I can use to describe that game is survivable. They played better than in some of the last games, sure, but Igor stood on his head, per usual, and I’m sure the team will conclude that it was the lineup changes that worked.

NYR beating them was [quite predictable](https://x.com/Nyr32C/status/1869217079091695935?t=MqbT7E3xopkxzJJbhMEYKA&s=19), because beating this team after getting shutout by Nashville is a very NYR thing to happen

Rempe does not help NYR at all and I just won’t be convinced otherwise. It’s even worse considering Brodzinski is a net positive bottom 6 forward with good defense and is excellent in transition (which NYR desperately needs) and they keep passing over him as if he doesn’t exist

  2. Rempe will most likely be given a game based on that. Any other team might have made us pay with all the penalties we took tonight.

  3. Hot take: I think they would have won with or without Rempe

    –insert Normal Rockwell meme here–

  4. You know how they tape your stick to your hands in mites to teach you to keep both hands on your stuck?

Wonder if that would work for Rempes elbows.

Like maybe if he raises his elbows above breast height, he gets an electric shock, or a dose of highly potent laxatives or something.

    IDK just spitballing here.

He was having such a great game, and then he went full on Krombopulus Michael.

  5. The only time I noticed we receded a bit was when Dallas got desperate in the 3rd. We didn’t collapse on the 5 minute PK, no PPGs given to Dallas, and we had some really nice chances.

I’m a VERY happy camper right now.

  6. First win in like 18 games I felt we deserved it. Igor deserves all the fucking credit. 40 saves wow

  7. Literally beat Dallas with one hand tied behind our backs. Safe to say our PK isn’t a problem.

  8. Awesome win! Rempe gave us the energy and Igor all the saves!

This was one of the most cohesive games in a long time!
