If you got the best pitch . It doesn't matter if you go first or last.
Best Mets Channel on Youtube!!!!π
Sasaki either wants to come or doesn't. Who tf knows? If he wants the most money, in the end, he will come to Uncle Stevie, if not…he won't.
Pete please come back and cement your met legacy. And I hope for an ace signing and hope Sasaki comes
SIGN PETE!!!!!!!!
I hope we get sasaki and sign manea and id be thrilled. I wonder if bregman falls under your over 30 long term contract signing that stearns wont do!
Christian Walker just signed with Houston – – 3 yrs / $60 mil. We will see who the Yankees sign, and then I think the Mets will re-sign Pete.
Of course the Mets are on a budget, but I don't think anyone knows how much that is…..:)
Please – no Bregman, no Arenado.
As Mike Francesa said, that Max Fried contract was an overreaction to not getting Soto.
We need great pitching with a great lineup. We can go like this The lineup go Lindor , Nimmo , Soto , Alonso , McNeil ,Vientos , Bregman , Siri , Alvarez. That's good stuff π Rotation Corbin Burns as our Ace and the other pitchers! π
A little coaching on defense will go a long way with Vientos. This is why I do not want Bregman.
Alonso is coming back, there's no market for first basemen, Mets are just waiting him out, I mean he is on a 2 year decline, he should have accepted his extension, he's coming back for less years and less money
I'm waiting to see how our GM finalizes our pitching staff. He has a lot of work to do. Plus I want Alonso back.
Alonso's contract I believe is negotiable. I heard nobody is knocking down his front door with the poor in-season performance of .240 with 172 K's killing rallys.Pete has to stop trying to hit for the fences. When on 2 strikes go for the opposite field. He did that in Milwaukee so He is starting to get the idea. When you had the Wilpons bringing in talent they only put them on the field with no tweeks. Here Sterns along with his scouts and coaches come to the conclusion of determining talent and adjustments rather than taking big risks of rushing 400 million dollar contracts. I thought they would be 15 games under 500 last year. They have a lot of resourceful tanks they dive into without making it public. That's why the met fan is on the edge of his seat during the offseason. I think they will attempt to get one more starter but we can do as fans is enjoy the holiday, go skiing, spend time with loved one's ect. and let them do the work. Let's see if it pays off by June. The is the sure bet
We're hearing that Bregman is looking for $200K, forget that, sign Pete, and move on to an ace. Also who's our DH? please none of that crap with regular position players filling in, we need to get a true home run hitting DH
If Senga can effectively teach Sasaki the ghost fork, Sasaki will become the best pitcher in MLB and possibly one of the GOATs
Money is not the problem with Manea or Alonso the problem is Cohen and Stearns dont want yo commit to alot of yrs
Heβs meeting with every team again Ken rosenthal said dodgers and padres are the favs because he wants to stay on the west coast
Sasaki also knows that Japanese tuna buyers line-up in Montauk to buy the incoming Blue Fins…Those suckers are packed and trucked to JFK and land in Tokyo 14 hours & 35 minutes…<<< True Story ^^^
I hear roki Sasaki to yankees meet good π but roki Saski not goes to Mets ππ he say nothing about Mets π
I'm worried about the Sasaki negotiation after last year's experience with Yamamoto. I'm not saying that he will use the Mets as leverage to hit the lottery in Hollywood, but it is a legitimate concern. The addition of Sasaki would surely be welcomed and provide us with another front-end starter alongside Senga, but I wonder about the priority of adding another ace, my fellow Metsies, trust me, Senga is an ace. David Stearns' preference is flexibility and versatility on the pitching staff building from the bullpen out. I still wouldn't rule out Tanner Scott and a pivot to a guy like Jack Flaherty or Nick Pivetta and bringing back Manea on more team-friendly deals regarding term, not salary. It was just announced that the 'Stros inked Christian Walker to a 3-year, $60 million deal making it more likely of Pete to stay in Flushing. Happy Holidays everybody or Festivus for the Rest of Us.
Mets got good shot. Because one the best pitching reputation with Jeremy hufferner
Everybody has a budget, even Cohen.
Hits and pitches like babe ruth
