  1. I know it probably actually hasn’t been that long, but I legitimately cannot remember the last time we won in overtime

  2. Inexcusable loss. Make them walk back to Columbus. Had no business losing that game.

  3. Catastrophic third period. Can’t get credit for 40 good minutes if you collapse down the stretch by giving up four goals and blowing three different leads. This is becoming an issue.

  4. Fuck this. Can’t wait to go to the game Monday and watch Laine score at least 2 goals against us.

  5. I’m gonna try to be as positive about this as I can.

At least we still have Z

At least we still have Z

  6. If we want to be a good team we have to learn how to win those games.

We had several chances to put it away, and we didn’t.

  7. Z didn’t need to be leaned on after coming back. He was on the ice for what 4 goals against? And where was Fantilli in the third? He seemed to be having a good game up to that point.

  8. We are actually starting to throw away leads again and it needs to be addressed by the coaching staff before old habits return again. That absolutely should’ve been a win in regulation and that was some lazy ass backchecking in overtime there.

  9. Time to supercharge the rebuild this summer. We have great young pieces, just not enough good veterans for a playoff roster. Also need another goalie badly. You need a tandem in the nhl.

  10. What an epic collapse. This team consistently plays well and loses because of the dumbest shit. Also, no idea what Sillinger was doing standing there watching while Provorov is tied up in the corner. He needs to be on the defensive side of the puck there, and not being able to get back on the back check is the icing on the cake. That’s a game they had absolutely no business in losing.

  11. Played for about 40 mins decided all was good 2-0 up going into the 3rd and we let them walk all over us for a period.

No point even complaining about OT, we are abysmal 3on3 I don’t know what drills we do to practice it.

These losses are getting harder and harder to defend. It’s fine if we’re genuinely outplayed by a better team but we had that game won about 4 different times tonight and threw it away each and every time.

  12. While today might have not been Elvis’s fault, I firmly believe most of you in the sub are in some Elvis cult. I thought people would learn from his M.O and not redeem him because he has had some good games. The same thing happens every season, I swear.

  13. > CBJ  coach Dean Evason, on @FanDuelSN_CBUS, said that D Zach Werenski’s injured left leg was “seizing up” during the third period and overtime

Then why keep sending him out? Half assed defense is still better than this, all four goals were when he was on the ice after his injury.
