  7. Wait until everyone sees what Holmes and Montas are gonna do wearing orange and blue. Senga should be back to his old self.

    They have the 2 lefties now locked in. Peterson is on the rise. He's still gonna get better. The Mets know it.

    Manea merged with Sale and became a new pitcher in the 2nd half. Now he has the entire offseason and spring training to get a fresh full training all concentrated on his new transition.

    He's going to be dominant. I'm really really optimistic about that. During the middle part of the season he just picked up this thing from Sale and just went with it and it worked. It really worked and he really changed.

    But remember, he just picked it up and went with it. He worked on it but it was during the season. He had to test it in the fire right away. And once again, it worked and it was no fluke.

    But now….he's really, going to have a full time to focus 100% on his new evolution while he trains to get stronger. He's gonna have a full spring training to train with that alien pitching lab.

    If you ask me, I think he's going to be dominant. If he and Peterson get better those 2 become aces. And those 2 are getting better.

    Holmes? That man now with that alien lab? And his old coach plus Stearns now? And the fire I saw in his eyes?

    I'm calling it, watch Holmes become an ace as a starter. They know what they're doing. Look at how filthy his stuff is and he's adding a change up and a 4 seamer. If that man adds those 2 pitches effectively, he will be a close to untouchable kind of pitcher.

    Montas….watch. He has that bulldog mind. He comes right after you. But now they're going to take him through the alien lab. The Yankees will be salivating when they see how that man and Holmes is going to look in a Mets uniform.
    I think they're already thinking about it. I can hear them mentioning it to each other. " Those 2 guy can end up being 2 big time pitchers for the Mets ".

    Those guys are coming in now after this mega change that just happened to the Mets landing Soto. Those guys are excited to be a part of this and are eager to train and to see their new alien lab.

    The Mets are having this underdog looking rotation where each man can end up pitching like an ace and that's what I like about it. I already see it.

    I think the Mets are going to save the Polar Bear so that offense that they have, now merged with and surrounding Soto in it, is going to be fierce.

    That presence and that elite patience of Soto is going to rub off on the entire lineup. Imagine how that will rub off on Nimmo who already has that level of vision at the plate and patience.

    Imagine how that will rub off on Vientos. That could push him to that potential elite level he possesses. Imagine how that will rub off on Alvarez. Imagine how that will rub off on Lindor and on Pete if he remains a Met.

    You know that the entire lineup will look to merge with the best hitter and that will make them better. When they see Sotos approach upclose, they see how he trains, they see his swing, his attitude ex ex

    Its just going to put that Soto fire on them. Remember it's not just adding Soto IN the lineup. They're adding Soto TO the lineup. Meaning that the entire lineup will get the Soto effect.

    It can't just be any lineup. It has to be a lineup that has real rising stars in it and the Mets have that. Guys that when you merge them with a player like Soto, have huge potential to become all stars. I think those guys were bound to be stars regardless but now having Soto to train with, will make that so much better….to push them to be their very best.

    I can't wait to see how Soto on the team and in the lineup will impact Nimmo. Nimmo got away from being his old self last year. Now having Soto with that patience and timing of his, in the same lineup, that will greatly encourage him to go back to his roots to use his own eye and he can have a huge season.

    You know Lindor will absorb that star energy from Soto. Lindor is a real all-star hall of fame caliber player. That entire lineup with Soto in the middle of it is going to have a radical new look.

    I'm waiting for them to make signing Pete official and I'll be waiting for Sasaki.

  11. This is excellent news! Now we need a first baseman, one more pitcher and a lefty DH and I think we would be set!! And, I would love to see Jose Iglesias come back with all that positive mantra that revved the Mets up at the end of the season and the post season!!!

  16. I wouldn’t be surprised if they get the Japanese star and one of our minor league pitchers breaks spring training in the majors!

  25. This is the best pitching news so far, but my confidence will not be solid unless they sign a legitimate Ace.
    Senga is still a question mark until he proves otherwise.
    Just because the pieced together staff worked in 24, that doesn’t mean it will work again in 25.
