That is all

  1. Genuinely wouldn’t have expected to see our LB room at its peak when Williams and Bernard were out there but I prefer him to Milano at this point

  2. I was directly hoping for him and Spector in their respective drafts. One turned out a bit better than the other lol. I think it was that playoffs injury that messed Spector up though, vs the Steelers, because I remember him stepping in and playing very nicely before getting hurt.

  3. As sad as it’s going to be, I really think he’s shown enough to take Milano’s place after this year.

  4. Literally came here to post the same message. Milano is definitely recovering and Williams was doing the job in his absence all season. His occasional coverage shortfalls are more than made up for in his blitzing and run stopping. Hard hitter with endless motor.

Want him starting every game, with Milano maybe used in obvious passing downs.

  5. Spector on the field equates to a total pass defense meltdown. AJ Klein was better in pass coverage

  6. Spector strikes me as someone who had the potential to be useful backup but has been derailed by having a body that just won’t stand up to the stresses of the NFL.

I fear McD’s love of continuity will mean they keep trying with Spector rather than assembling the best best arrangement from the other LBs. Heck at this point I’d consider seeing what free agent LBs are out there and IRing Spector. Two weeks to crash course a veteran LB to be backup (but not as veteran as Klein was…)

No idea if Milano or Williams is the best pairing with Bernard for the season
