Define "options" compated to "good options" please.
Braves going to go cheap just accept it and deal with 3rd place and possibly missing the playoffs and play for 26.
Merry Christmas! Wishing you joy, warmth, and all the happiness this season brings!
I view Jurickson Profar is here today, gone tomorrow. A flash in the pan.
After Eovaldi got 3 years Jack Flaherty deserves no less than that.
You've been bad boys and girls this year says Alex Santaopolis. A lump of coal is what we fans get this year. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I'm not sold on Profar. The only time in his career he's been over 50th percentile for xwOBA or xBA or xSLG is 2024 (I don't count 2020 stats). The previous 8 years he's been 20-40th percentile. I'm not really convinced that 32 year old sub-par hitter suddenly became a 92nd percentile hitter because he changed mechanics.
For RP, I'd rather the Braves continue to hunt for good relievers on bad teams or high peripherals such as Andrew Nardi, Pete Fairbanks, John King, Josh Fleming, Hunter Harvey.
A good outfielder and the rest in pitching arcia will work and let's go
No way in Jack Flaherty
Ever since that cardinal playoff series. Helsley and Flaherty have been on my hate list. Plus Flaherty whines and complains too much for me.
To be honest. I seriously do believe Alex Anthopoulos is not going to do anything this off season. If you think about what he's done so far this off season along with what he's done thus far during the past 2 off seasons. Alex Anthopoulos acquired Kelenic for a real reason. He is our left fielder permanently. Just because he ended the season less productive doesn't mean what everyone is thinking. Kelenic can play and having a bad 1st season doesn't mean anything. Alex Anthopoulos freed a lot of money because with the contracts coming off the books next off season. Alex is going to let the 2025 team we have now play it out. It seems as if no one is realizing that our main core batting lineup will be playing. Once Acuna does return we will have the record breaking offense from 2023 fully intact. Alex is saving money point blank period. Check out the free agency market list for pitchers after the 2025 season? Alex is going in hard for 2 top notch starters for the 2026 rotation
Atlanta Braves fans must have been bad😊 boys and girls this past year because saint anthopoulos is leaving coal beneath our Christmas trees it seems, maybe we'll get a New Year's surprise.
GOOD LUCK ATLANTA FAN
S ……..😩😩
Based on what the Philles and Mets have done it looks like 3rd place in the NL East. Afteevthe last knee injury, Acuna was a shell of himself so I don't expect much from him in 2024. And same with Strider, coming off the elbow injury he won't be the same guy in 2025 IMO so I'm prepared for a long season 😭😭
I believe the primary objective for the Braves this year to stay below the CBT. Winning the Division is a secondary objective.
