  1. As a Nets fan, the Nets getting Devin Carter would be a Coup! Assuming his shoulder is okay, he is a better building block than anyone on Nets roster. Better than Cam Thomas, Clowney, Claxton, Jalen Wilson. I'd trade Cam Johnson for Keon Eliis, D.Carter & salary filler right now.

  2. Mark Jackson or van Gundy now…. Let see if it’s players or coach’s. I would bench foxy for 2 years if u want hardball…Browns rotations and line-ups are physopathic… Many factors have contributed to the mess that is the 2024-2025 season, from a GM who hibernates 90% of the season and who has yet to build a competent roster after the Tyrese Haliburton-Domantas Sabonis swap, to a few ill-timed injuries, to players who are simply performing well below their abilities. There’s a lot of bad and very little good happening anywhere across the organization, but no one has been quite as bad as Mike Brown this year. The most significant gap in Brown’s offensive philosophy has been his integration, or lack thereof, of DeMar DeRozan. Outside of the overall offensive and defensive strategies employed by the Kings, Mike Brown, another massive issue has been his inconsistent rotations and accountability. The best example is that of Keon Ellis, although plenty others can be found simply by checking basketball reference’s game logs. Yet another is Mc Buckets-McDermott was a beast off the bench. He scored 18 points on 6/7 shooting in just 8 minutes. He didn’t appear in the next game against the New Orleans Pelicans, and that DNP-CD was followed by a 16-point performance against Denver in which he sunk 6 of 9 shots and 4 of 7 of his three-point attempts. That impressive outing was again followed by a benching on Thursday night against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Yet, Kevin Huerter and Keegan Murray who has been awful for the majority of the season, continue to find regular minutes in Mike Brown’s rotation. Some players can do no wrong and some players can do no right. It’s true that Monte McNair has not set Mike Brown up for success, but Mike Brown also hasn’t set Mike Brown up for success.
    He’s been downright terrible.

  3. 2 firsts + keon is too mich to give up when you could very well start a rebuild next year. Keon should stay if we are rebuilding, and losing two firsts for a guy that won’t guarantee a turnaround is too much.

  4. 2 firsts + keon is too mich to give up when you could very well start a rebuild next year. Keon should stay if we are rebuilding, and losing two firsts for a guy that won’t guarantee a turnaround is too much.

  5. The only trade deal they need to be making has to involve Fox. They will not win a championship with a Cam Johnson addition. Put Heurter and Fox in a deal together and reset, not rebuild. The only player that can give you something valuable in return is Fox.

  6. I think Keon's recent DNP-CDs indicate that he's not exceptionally high on Mike Brown's priority list. If you're NOT going to fire Mike Brown, i think including Keon in a deal should be "considered". Plus, you simply HAVE to move either of Ellis or Carter because there isn't room for both of them at that overcrowed guard position. If you keep them both, you're wasting them.

  7. This team is done. They are done. Just the front office really think that going out and selling fire sailing everybody to get one player is kinda turn this team around no way this team has lost it. There is something wrong internally. OK so the kings trade some of their assets. We don’t even have any bench players to get us any points and we’re already talking about trading where are we gonna get points from?

  8. This roster was so mismanaged. Now they are in a hole now they want a fire sale everybody to try to get out of the hole. The owners need to recognize this and fire sale the staff.

  9. 28:43 exactly my thoughts exactly. Is this guy a king fan. No for reals self we are not going to achieve our aspirations by getting rid of all of our players for one player first round draft picks were talking about getting rid of way.

  10. Cam Johnson is a solid nba starter, borderline great shooter whose numbers are a bit inflated playing for a rebuilding team. Carter is Keon Ellis on defense with way more potential than him on offense. Trading 2 firsts and Carter is insane. One first and Keon or the Nets can take 2 bad picks from the Thunder

  11. Lol another team for Cam Johnson to waste his talent on. No one wants to go to Sacramento. They’re not winning anything probably ever. He’ll be in OKC contending for a championship with the Thunder. He’s literally the missing piece for them and they have 3x’s as many assets as the Kings do.

  12. Enjoy the talk. Wild that Devin Carter is seen as this worthless in value already. No good reason to include him in anything until he has a chance to play and show something. Hope we swing something soon, regardless.

  13. In the offseason I would have said yes, right now I truly believe (but don’t think Vivek will sign off on it) the best course long term is a reset which includes trading Fox.

  14. I think fox wants his money. He's got to be on another team to get all star. Kings current roster will weigh him down. Plus his stats don't get him there. I'm not sure hes really leading this team anyway. If he wants to leave, get a monster return for that. What that is, I'll let the comments take it from there…

  15. Meh, trade for reed shepherd and picks. By next season kings will have a true pg and a returning two way carter. Trade sabonis for a defensive center. Stupid to acquire a rim protector that doesnt defend.

  16. If Fox gets traded I will no longer be a fan of this team. I’ve been a diehard supporter since I was 4 years old, for 20+ years. It’s heartbreaking, and not because I don’t love them, I LOVE this team, but this franchise and the people running this team have just ruined it every time there’s a small shine of hope

  17. Kings just need to trade Fox by the trade deadline to get good value before he enters his last year. Commit to a rebuild and hopefully y'all get a good pick this year in a good draft

  18. Anyone thinking we’re gonna trade Fox and sabonis is moronic and emotional. We wouldn’t sign a future hall of famer, then sell our team and surrender to a rebuild a few months later. That’s an easy way to never get a top shelf F/A signing ever again. We’re riding this season out, any trades by the deadline are still to win.

  19. Monte McNair needs to be fired! He is the main culprit who loves getting small midgets (for NBA standards). Kings lack major depth in the front court.

  20. Bro please don’t waste picks for cam Johnson. This team is trash last thing we need to do is pay premium for a player that at best will bump us up to the 9-10th seed lmfao pathetic

  21. Devin carter is great enough to trade straight across for Cam. I don't see him being traded without getting some action with us. I wouldn't give up any draft picks but I would throw in some of our g leage talent. If I had to give up Huerter Carter and Murry I want Ben and Finney

  22. Everyone saying Monte and Vivek made the wrong move getting demar and didn’t address an issue. Wrong. Monte and Vivek did address a need.. it was another shot creator/ play maker and derozan is literally the best u can get in the offseason that does exactly that. And we literally got him for HB! A player that didn’t have much value. The problem is Monte and Vivek hasn’t made a move since, the problem isn’t getting demar the problem is no moves were made when clearly this isn’t a finished product. Looking at this team , nobody expected these guys to shoot way below their averages and should have been able to hold us up by trade deadline and see what we have. Nobody realizes either that players become available around the deadline not the offseason, offseason is more for free agents
