Nationals-Rangers Trade Analysis: Nathaniel Lowe for Robert Garcia — Bozzy Baseball Breakdown

I get the “value of the trade.” Plenty has been said about that and I’m certainly not going to question what this front office is up to.
However, the “value” people see in Garcia versus what his actual performance is are different enough to make me wonder what is he actually. Front office sees something there so I’ll trust them, but this has a real chance to just be a whatever trade that only really nets them money.
I don’t like the trade, but you can’t look at this trade in a vacuum. If it were the only thing we did, we got fleeced, but it made room for Peterson, Burger and a bullpen arm, which is a huge need.
