Although unlikely the Browns have a realistic path to the top pick in the draft… Browns lose the last 2, and the Giants, Patriots, Titans, Jags each win 1 of their last. The critical one is the (+7.5) Giants beating the Colts (-7.5) this weekend.
If the Giants lose out as expected the #2 pick is likely if the Patriots catch the Bills without Josh Allen in Week 18.
The most likely outcome is the #3 pick if the Browns lose out and the favorites win in the relevant matchups.
If the Browns win 1 or both of their last 2 they will likely pick 8th regardless. The difference between 4 or 5 wins wouldn’t change the order much.

Really waiting for #1 pick Shadeur to the Browns with the refusal to play. Would really fit in the current timeline nicely.
They could end up with the top three pick and still take a left tackle. Instead of one of the few Big impact players.
Or they will trade down for more draft picks even though they have an ass load of them this year

I’m so tired of caring about getting high picks. I just want to be fucking good.
The Giants are such a dumpster fire… I doubt they beat the Colts this week. The Eagles could rest their starters in Week 18. They likely will be locked out of the 1 seed this week (they lose tiebreaks to both DET and MIN) but will clinch 2 if they win or the Commies lose.
The Patriots could beat the Bills in Week 18, they already went toe to toe with them for a half at full strength and the Bills will have nothing to play for if they beat the Jets and clinch the 2 seed.
Jaguars face Tennessee so we’ll pass one of them but the other to win in Week 18 is iffy (Jags get Colts, Titans get Texans).
There’s definitely a path but I’m expecting to land ~3 at this point. Unless we pull a classic Browns and win one of these next 2 games for absolutely no reason. Us doing something stupid is always the most likely scenario.
