4. The Browns can’t afford a top free agent quarterback, we have Deshaun Watson in the books for two more years. Brock Purdy isn’t in the equation. The only thing we can do in my opinion is to draft a quarterback in the first round next year and let them compete with Deshaun for the QB1 job. If I was the GM I would draft Jalen Milroe and have him in camp and let him have the same reps as Deshaun and see what he looks like in preseason. I really think he is the most talented quarterback in this draft class. He looks like Lamar Jackson.

22. We always talk about we had Baker and every national media guy praising Baker was saying he’s the guy holding us back. I remember a Christmas Game he threw 4 Ints in a game and before I hear he was injured etc he shouldn’t have played then. Same people who would say Garrett isn’t doing much when that guy has played injured the last 3 years and don’t let me talk about how at one point Baker got benched for PJ Walker in Carolina.

29. Purdy is as good as Tua and Lawrence. He's not a Burrow, Jackson, Mahomes, Herbert, or Allen. But he is in the next tier. If I am the 49'rs, I'd take Darnold for $40 million instead if Purdy is $55 million. But maybe Purdy is that first step to QB sanity, $40 million for 3 years, $80 million guaranteed. 32. Brock Purdy is trash. He plays in perfect weather in San Fran, doesn't have to fight the elements like a cleveland qb does. No chance that Purdy resets the qb market. No freaking way.

34. I’m not usually one to live in the past, but this just made me think if we would have been a bit more patient… we could have gone after Lamar Jackson with that fully guaranteed contract and possibly shook him lose since no other team wanted to handle that… 😢

35. I don’t see Brock Purdy making more money than Sam Darnold in the open market. The best thing to happen to Purdy out of college will work against him for the same reason. He is a Shanahan product, he might get $20 mill but not much more
