We’ve got Alex Cobb now, and we’re World Series bound. No need for more major leaguers, let’s just sift through the scrap heap of minor leaguers out of options. It’s a player development team, and the clones need a few more years before we can harvest them.

No one believes this until it happens. This is just bull shit that the average tigers fan sees and believes it’s true and when it doesn’t happen they say that Chris Ilitch tried, but the player just didn’t want to come to Detroit.
BREAKING: The Detroit Tigers have signed 1B Victor Martinez Jr. to a 7 year/$300M deal. Spencer Torkelson will be transitioning to third base to make room for Victor.
