I don’t understand the fan bases constant desire to shit talk people who chose not to sign with us. He had a plenty valid reason to sign with Arizona. He’s free to sign wherever, hence the term FREE agent. Every time we make a serious offer to someone, everyone on here acts like the player has to sign with us
I’m fine with him choosing his family. Same reason I accepted posey sitting out Covid and retiring early. These are people.
We wanted him, he had a preference, we didn’t get him. And the big reason I’m cool with it is he didn’t drag this out. Shoutout to him, on to the next FA
Meh we didn’t offer enough to entice him. That’s on us for not adjusting the offer and allowing other teams to come in.
Giants were smart to stand their ground. In 3 to 4 yrs it would be a bad contract. More ammo to go all in on Tucker next year!
