At the Fenway bowl; I’ve never seen my beloved ballpark as a football field before. Go huskies!

  1. It used to host football back in the 40s through the 60s with the Boston Redskins, Boston Yanks, and the Boston Patriots playing there.

  2. Went for Yale-Harvard a few years back. It was cool to see it there once as a “check it off the list” thing, it felt like once was enough. Fun for a few photos and we had nice weather. But the sightlines for football aren’t great.

Also the poor quality of the turf resulted in a few nasty injuries which soured it. (Harvard QB got a severe hip dislocation and needed to be rushed to the hospital).

  3. The Fenway Bowl is now going on three straight years of terrible weather, but at least it should be a very fun matchup

  4. That is pretty cool. My company had the holiday party at the EMC club a few years back, January 2017, but it was while the rink was on the field for Frozen Fenway. Not game night but it was all lit up and different people were skating around, it was one hell of a scene, besides the awesomeness of the setting in general. I wish they’d get that place again, the championship trophies were out and everything.

  5. I saw football there years ago when my old high school played there for Thanksgiving week I think. I’d like to catch a hockey game there if the winter classic ever returns, or if college hockey gets a game there.

  6. I was there today too. The right field seats finally make sense pointing you toward the 40 yard line. Go UCONN.
