I mean well take it, thanks Gio. Are you also close with Roki Sasaki
The very first response is basically “but what else”. This sub has turned so insufferable after a good year.
It’s really cool to see a positive vibe & culture building from within the Tigers
“Detroit is a great place to spend half a season in the midwest if you absolutely have to.” – Gio Urshela.
And this mother fucker couldn’t have been friends with Soto?
Incredibly happy to hear that
Love to hear it even if Gio wasn’t there for the run loved his game
That’s really cool. Gio was only here for a little less than a year, so it says a lot about the Tigers that he spoke so highly about his time in Detroit that it impacted the decision of a desirable free agent. Honestly, I feel like the Tigers have had the reputation as a very player-friendly organization for quite awhile now, even before the Hinch-Harris era. I don’t remember too many players leaving the Tigers on awful or even particularly bad terms with the team. On the flip side, players who were here even for a short time (Flaherty, Urshela, Cron come to mind) speak highly of their experience. It’s good to see.
