more than just Dan Campbell. Ben johnson is obviously a brilliant OC and their roster construction has been A+. Dan Campbell comes here and fails with the same shitty roster Ballard has given every coach year over year.

I don’t think Campbell fixed this team much at all. The Lions GM is one of the best there is. Ours is not.
Without a great GM the HC is kind of irrelevant.
I agree with others who have pointed out the importance of having a good GM. Even though Campbell is a superior HC to what Reich was I think he would have failed in Indy. No HC can overcome a below average GM like Ballard.
But if you want to play the what could have been game a little more, just think that same hiring cycle Ballard chose Josh McDaniels over Mike Vrabel too.
I didn’t read the date and honestly thought we might be trying to hire Reich back.
