Always love hearing you talk Padres!! Miss hearing you on the Radio
And is Roki suppose to be impressed with those acquisitions of minor leaguers that the padres just made during the offseason, along with cutting payroll. If Roki is that dumb then he deserves to be a padre π
The sales pitch to Sasaki is you will be our ace because:
1. Musgrove has TJ
2. Darvish is getting to 40
3. Cease is getting traded
4. We wonβt have money to resign King
5. Our farm was top 5 before we traded away most our prospects and now we are bottom 5 in span of 3 months
So no one is left and you get #1 spot by default
The Padres can at least say that they got a pitcher out of Japan. Jose Espada. πππ
What a mess AJ has made after 10 years on the job. Letβs hope he can work some magic his final two years oh his contract.
Ownership says cut 40 million in salary next year and get better!! Prellar should step down or take the bullet
They don't have the π°. They let Profar, Scott walk and they're trying to dump DC too.
Think Roki would want to go there π€. Don't think so…
Padres inaction is frustrating, but a much bigger problem is MLB's financial structure. HTF are Padres supposed to be able to sign any real stars when LA, NYY, NYM, BOS etc all have streaming revenue 5-7 times SD. Bleak outlook for Padres going forward.
