Pewter Pulse: Bucs Must Ramp Up For A SUPER BOWL RUN IN 2025

The Bucs’ 2024 season isn’t over quite yet, but with the New Year here it’s time to look ahead to 2025. Pewter Report’s Scott Reynolds says the team’s New Year’s resolution should be to go all-in on a Super Bowl run in 2025 in a NEW Pewter Pulse video.

  1. Happy New Year S.R! Hudson fl in the house thanks for all your work and cheers to many more! Any job openings let me know? I'd love to join and write for the family and I'm darn good at it….Many Blessings over you and yours!🙌🙌🏴‍☠️💪

  2. Licht needs to break out the check book and sign a good DE or OLB or trade for one. He cant draft a good one. Godwin is an easy re-sign, draft needs to be defensive heavy.

  3. Off topic, but three buccaneers made the pro bowl!Tristian Wirfs, Baker Mayfield, and… Cade Otton (a little bit of a surprise there) Go Bucs!!! Also we’re going deep next year

  4. What keeps Tampa Bay mediocre is a HC who is a mediocre coordinator, who is a worse Head Coach.

Our LBers are the worst in the league, minus one really great but very old one.

  5. The Bucs need to improve their defense significantly to be in the superbowl conversation. 7 ints just isn’t enough and combine that with always being burnt or out of position it’s a recipe for disaster. If Todd is going to stick around, there better be some defensive position group coaches that are let go. Also it’s important to understand the defense just isn’t that talented rn either. Outside of Winfield when he’s healthy we have 0 playmakers on the secondary or linebackers (maybe tyk smith). Need to add more talent to the defense

  6. When it comes to pass rushers if the rumors of Myles Garrett possibly wanting out of Cleveland pending their QB plans is true I wouldn't mind Baker trying to recruit him to join him in Tampa. Just imagine him next to Vita and Kancey. Though it likely would require multiple high picks which Licht loves but Myles is arguably the best pass rusher in the league. If Jason doesn't want to give up picks then I wouldn't mind Khalil Mack as he is free agent. Downside to him is he in in his 30s however he is still an effective pass rusher. Priority though should be resigning Godwin and extension for Goedeke.

  7. Got to beat the Aints. Bucs need to stop doing the good game bad game trend. Stay focused and start strong. We need to defense to get some turnovers and play better in the playoffs. I’m writing this and Scott is repeating everything I said. Oh well it helps the algorithm.

  8. You have 1 more great year with Evans, a Dpoy candidate with Winfield Jr. an elite Lt and a MVP candidate QB. You have to ramp it up for 2025

  9. Could’nt agree more. Think we have a weak secondary and OLB. Bucs really need to go back to 4-3 and get real DE’s. I’m not sure why I always see two or three defenders in the backfield around a WR or TE and the receiver is wide open for the catch. Like there are no over/under coverages? Is it communication, defensive schemes, or poor play? Defensive Coach’s have to change that’s for sure. If Todd wants to go deep in the playoffs , it can’t just be about the blitz packages. Problem is that Todd is stubborn.

  10. Happy new year what an excellent video I consume a lot of NFL content and I must say you and your crew do the best of any market. I follow go Baker Mayfield go Buccaneers❤

  11. I still wouldn't be mad if they drafted a o-lineman in the 3rd or 4th round or a veteran in free agency, quality depth on the O-line helps control the game and win championships

  12. Super Bowl run? 😂😂 with these players we have on defense? I need your dealers info bc he has some good 💩. Defense is going to let this team down bc of lack of talent not coaching.

  13. Could not help but think of you SR as Raheem Morris demonstrated that he was actually Todd Bowles in disguise Sunday night. Do NFC coaches have issues with time outs? Maybe Todd wasn't in bed during the game. He was working voodoo or something in Raheem's head.

  14. Speaking of signing impact free agents and trades, the Watson contract is going to put a strangle hold on their salary cap in terms defensive stars whose contracts are going up at the Browns. The organization is a tire fire. Nothing is going to motivate stars to restructure or take less. Perhaps a hot Bucs team could leverage the Browns’ terrible cap situation to pick off a Myles Garrett or a Denzel Ward for low round picks and the Browns taking part of the next year’s salary.

  15. im sorry. i completely disagree with the premise of the bucs not being contenders right now and todd bowles not being a good head coach. 3 of the last 4 years of making the playoffs have been with him as head coach and the year they won the super bowl he was defensive coordinator.

that said, the last 3 years have seen 3 different offensive coordinators, which doesn’t allow for any momentum of directional development to occur.

the defense has suffered so many injuries, and in spite of all of this, the bucs have beat the lions, the eagles, forced overtime with the chiefs, have put themselves in exactly the position to play a team they’ve already beat in the playoffs while silently operating from an on paper perspective as a pushover team, who in all reality is deadly and explosive when they choose to be.

why go all out in the regular season potentially ruining the offensive health just to secure a higher seed by the factor of one when you can present the image of a team who is hot and cold, but in reality is a wolf in sheep’s clothing all for the purpose of misdirection to keep your opponent thinking they’ve beat you before the game even starts
