Stop me when you've heard this script before: The AFC Favorite to reach the Super Bowl the year before, suffers a devastating loss in the AFC Championship against a dynasty, loses a ton of depth in the offseason, including the defensive coordinator and some of his staff, the franchise QB gets roasted for not getting it done in the playoffs, Harbaugh being victimized by a few bad decisions and terrible luck, the media saying that their best years are behind them and that they won’t make the playoffs, all of the injured star QBs from the previous year are now healthy, the AFC North is stacked, a franchise icon dies prior to the start of the season, they have a brutal schedule, the AFC QB room is loaded, losing to multiple backup QBs, losing to the Eagles, many questions surrounding the future of the organization, probably being the underdog in every single playoff game, the Super Bowl is in New Orleans, and it’s been 12 years since the most recent championship. What does that smell like? 2012 VIBES WRITTEN ALL OVER IT! TIME TO FINISH WHAT WE STARTED!
